I just received my bath mats and they were all folded up in the packaging and they don't lay flat. what should i do? should i wash them?

Lay them out flat, put something heavy (a book or some such thing) on top, leave it there for a day or day and the mat will flatten out.

How thick is this mat? My door has 3/4” clearance, is that enough to clear this mat when opening and closing?

The listing says it is .79” memory foam, so I think 3/4” is not enough clearance to go over it.
