I was very happy with this statue. Looks great

I love the size and the quality of this statue; when comparing the statue to the actual Life Magazine inside black and white photo (August 27, 1945 page 27), it is a near perfect match. This iconic image is THE best known photo of the 20th century and demonstrates the joy and spontaneity of a time and place of great celebration. It is especially meaningful to me as my husband is a sailor and I am a nurse. I recognize and admire the true artistry of this status - it is indeed expertly crafted and painted.

Very nice. I took it to my husbands naval reunion and put it in our silent auction. They decided it was too nice so they put it in the raffle.

Perhaps not absolutely accurate, this statuette is beautifully done and does justice to the iconic photograph.

Considering I couldn't find this statue anywhere else, I'm glad I got it. The paint details are pretty sloppy. And it's not 100% accurate to the original, but it's still cute. Maybe not worth the price though. Little over priced.
