Excellent design, with quality materials and build.
I had been researching covers for my *Ryobi 6500 W generator. After viewing several different models (including some "do-it-yourself" solutions), I opted for the "Parts World USA Rain Shelter Enclosure for Portable Generator". It arrived the following day, and set up was straight forward and uneventful. I like the way the design allows for both wet and dry operation. Additionally, access to the gas tank is simple (requiring very little to be "undone"). The materials and build quality seem very good. I will follow up on this review after a bit of time "on the job". (*Note: When transporting the generator, the handle is in the upright position. It can remain there, as shown in the initial photo [sorry straps are not buckled in this photo], or handle can be lowered and fully concealed)

Great for storage, Perfect for operating in bad weather
This cover gave me peace of mind about running my generator in the rain. Cover is a brilliant modular design with detachable side flaps that can be tensioned to extend out as an awning to protect the electrical panel of the generator from inclement weather during operation. This also allows airflow through the intake and out the exhaust, unlike a typical one-piece generator cover (which would have to be removed during use, exposing your generator to inclement weather). Simply fold the sides down when placing the generator back into storage. Truly a dual-purpose cover. Materials are high quality.

Doesnt fit
Unsure of how it actually is going to handle when the power goes out in Ohio. Need better directions such as step by step. I would not purchase again and would not recommend this.

Does NOT fit 34" long generator
First of all, a brief description of how this cover is built. It has a top, horizontal fabric panel that sits on top of the generator with 4 waterproof side flaps that hang down from each edge of the top. There are straps and snap buckles for each of the 4 flaps to attach to the lower frame of the generator. There are also straps with snap buckles that go to the top panel that can hold the side flaps up for operation. The top panel has a zippered flap to allow access to fuel the generator when open. There is a second waterproof top that attaches over main cover with velcro and buckles and is removable for refueling access.I bought this for a Westinghouse Wgen 12000 generator which is 34" long X 23" wide and the cover fit is very poor on a generator this size. The top panel of the cover measures only 30" long X 24" wide and the short length causes the end flap at one end or the other to be held up and away from the generator frame instead of hanging straight down. This prevents the flap at that end from being held up correctly when operating the generator - it hangs crooked. I making it work by adjusting it to sit properly at the end with the engine exhaust so the flap is securely held up and won't get damaged by the hot exhaust. The engine fan at the other end of the generator is low enough to not be blocked by the flap that can not be held up securely. It should allow me to run the generator out in the rain so I am going to keep this for now but plan to make a generator shed this summer. If I wanted a cover for a long term use, I would return this and buy something else.Quality of materials and construction seem good considering the price. It does require fiddling around with all the straps, figuring out where to attach to the frame and avoid any hot parts. It should fit a generator that is 30" X 24" well but any bigger and it may have a problem.

Looks well made
Thankfully, have not had an occasion to use it yet. Appears to be well made and should function well. I'm pleased with the price.

You get what you pay for
It fits but doesn’t cover much.

Works like a charm
Easy to put together. Make sure you have your generator in place before your put it on. No more water in the gas for me!
