This bushcraft handbook cover animal track and how to make and use traps in order to have game to eat in the wild. My husband is into trapping and still found a lot of useful ideas on trapping!!!!!!! I LOVE all the bushcraft handbbok series because they cover all topics in great detail without all the fluff that you really don't care about!!!! A MUST HAVE for your survival library!!!!!!!

This is only concerned with showing how to make snares and traps. It is a small book, but covers the subject quite well.One only needs to know a couple of simple snares and a couple of deadfalls. This books shows you all you need to knowabout these and more. After reading the book I tried some of their "twitch up" snares and found two that will cover any situation.With deadfalls, I gave up on the figure 4 trigger a long time ago: too much time to make and set up. However I did get some good ideas for the part of the deadfall that actually squashes the animal. All in all, an excellent book. Would recommend toall, and, remember to play around with these in your backyard before you ever need them in a survival situation. The primary lesson is to be able to build and set several of these these fast and to learn how to adjust the sensitivity of the trigger mechanism.

This is a great manual if you want to learn some simple traps and snares. Nothing flashy here. Just simple straightforward directions about constructing traps and snares that very well could save your life in an emergency. (or provide hours of backyard entertainment).

Old school but if it's not broke don't fix it. My 5and 7 year olds are learning all the things my grandad taught me I'm impressed

NOT BAD AT ALL PRETTY GOOD FOR THE FRIST TIMERS

I'm a picture person. If I have a good picture I can duplicate a snare or trap design. This was the only negative thing with this book, who ever done the pictures could have done better. However, overall it is worth buying. Has some great ideas on snares and set ups. You could toss this little pocket manual in your backpack and keep it there for reference if needed.
