Insectfarm Framed Real Common Bluebottle Butterfly Collection Display Insect Taxidermy

Very cool little taxidermy butterflies. The frames of these are all the same size so if you get multiple different bugs they are easy to hang up together. They did smell very bad when unpackaged, but once they aired out on the deck a few hours they were fine! Preserved bugs probably aren't going to smell good!

Overall was a good buy. Visually the frame was smaller than I expected but this is not the companies fault as the measurements were clearly written in the listing. A few issues led to a 3 star review.... 1.) Shipping speed was extremely slow. You should expect the long estimated arrival date on the listing to be accurate. 2.) I'm not usually someone who would complain about the smell of an item but in order to be informative in this review, the smell of the packaging and the item was unpleasant and very strong. 3.) The butterfly was beautiful but the white foam that it is set in was very dirty and noticeable from a few feet away. All that being said, the low price of the item outweighs the flaws of the item in my opinion. Would by this item again if I could travel back in time (after if write down the lottery numbers for the week that is)

The Butterfly is beautiful. I love it. But, don't get in a hurry to get it. The mail is slow in delivery. But, well worth the wait.

I was looking for something different for a baby's nursery. I chose to go with a pretty scientific theme. Framed plants and butterflies with scientific names. They are rather small but I got four of them and they serve their purpose. Shipping was a while but it is to be expected when coming from out of the country. Also, when they arrived they smelled of formaldehyde. I just let them air out side for a day or two prior to hanging them and they no longer smell. Overall very pleased

Item came around when it said it would. Packaging was great. The butterfly is beautiful. Just as pictured. Will be buying more specimens.

This butterfly is beautiful, but like most of the reviews say here, the SMELL is horrible!!! I have to leave it outside for a day or two because it's so strong. I don't know what the smell is, but I hope it's not dangerous. I'm starting to question if it was worth it...
