i was pregnant and taking regular prenatals and couldn't 'go' to save my life. the iron in most prenatals is too much to allow digestion to happen properly. my accupuncturist told me about metagenics and the fem prenates. i saw an immediate difference and enjoyed the most beautiful hair ive ever had in my life. i continued to take these after pregnancy and had great hair. my child is 7 now, i began taking them a year ago--not pregnant--- due to the fact that thyroid disease caused my hair to thin and fall out. i have been using these with great sucess. they have alot of what you need if you have poor absorbtion [from thyroid, low adrenals, high stress life, or intestinal issues as a result of glutten sensitivity.] ironically, many ofthe above issues are somewhat linked, ie: adrenal exhaustion leads to thyroid problems and is seen in intestitinal issues that are resolved by going gluten free. once you repair your adrenals, your thyrpoid function gets better and the body's tolerance to glutten is better as well. if you have a web is issues your trying to sort thru, reserch dr lams adrenal site and give these prenate a try. if you are pregnant or nursing, these are just brilliant vitamins to support the process.

I love this vitamin and took it before, during, and after my pregnancy. I stopped taking them for awhile, and just started back up again. I really feel good overall when I take these vitamins. There are 6 in a package, so one serving is actually 6 pills, so I find I need to have eaten a full meal beforehand, or I'll get nauseous. My only complaint is that the container is huge and the packets settle to the bottom so half the container is empty when I open it. Throwing such a huge plastic container in the garbage every month seems very wasteful to me.

My chiropractor sells and promotes Metagenics products. They had me under the impression that this was an isotonic supplement - like a powder that you add to water and then drink. When I found the product on Amazon for a much cheaper price, I was very excited to give it a try. However, I should have read the description a bit more closely. I saw the word "packet" and assumed that meant packets of powder. They are packets of pills - big pills and a lot of them, like 5 or 6 per packet. It's a good thing I'm not pregnant yet because I'm confident that morning sickness would keep any woman from successfully taking these pills. This product was expensive so I will keep using them until they are gone, but I definitely will not be purchasing them again. If I am going to take a pill I would much rather just take one and be done with it. It is my own fault though for not reading carefully!

6 horse pills per pack! Also every woman is different but I struggled with my quality of sleep the week I switched to these.

Great prenatal vitamins! I take mine at night and have had no issues with nausea. They are soy-free and include natural folate. I will take a dha supplement when i conceive since it is not added in this formula. These prenatals are daily packs of 6 pills. If you don't mind swallowing 6 pills daily i highly recommend this brand. Yhis seller ships very quickly. I am happy and will continue to purchase from them.

Made me queasy and had to quit. Sad considering the price. Also, there's 5 or 6 pills you have to take and while they smell like nothing (bravo) the white ones are a bit large and hard for me to swallow. Midwife suggested something without zinc so I switched (the new one does have zinc but it's from "culture" and there's less of it which worked for me. If you aren't sensitive to zinc it would probably be great.
