Impressive! Deal at $140
Very impressed and a solid deal at this price. Sizes run small, 5'9" 160 pounds and a large was the right fit for me. Heavy construction and materials. I weighed these out of the box at 4.2 pounds. So, more for cool weather. Not a down issue - different gear to match the weather is how it works. Used Rocket products for years. Good reliability and if you want CE rated armour, it's hard to find a better product. Crashed in Joe Rocket jacket a few years ago and it did a good job.

Very comfortable and well made.
I do like these, they are comfortable but wish they had the front thigh vents like the Atomic. The Atomic does not come in my size. I would highly recommend these to anyone

Awesome, but not water proof
I’ve had these pants for a number of years (at least 6) and have driven over 50k miles. I am 6’2”, thin build with a gut. The pants I usually wear are 36 waist X 34 length. I ordered the XL Tall pants and they fit perfectly over my clothes. They would fit a bigger waist as I have to cinch at least 2 inches.1. They are warm. Legs have never gotten cold. I wear a heated jacket and gloves, but nothing heated below the waist. On long rides, my feet are the only thing that gets cold. I ride down to the single digits. No issues. I also wear them as ski pants and they are awesome.2. These are NOT rain pants. Despite having a rain-suit-like material as an insert, they will not keep your clothes dry in a downpour. Never had issues in light to moderate rain. Not just in the front. I sit on ski lifts and eventually I get a wet butt.3. Easy to get on and off. Zippers are high quality though I did have to get the front zipper sewn back on as I stressed it a bit. Either way the mechanisms are sound. Even with boots on it is no problem. I usually stand next to the bike and place a foot on the peg to get them off without issue.Worth every penny for me. Glad I bought them.

Good for the price
I'm 5' 9" and 160 lbs. I bought the short/large size. They are a tad long for me, I typically wear a 30 inseam and the short is 32. They fit nicely over a pair of jeans. The only problem I've had with them so far is the exterior pant legs zippers becoming caught on the inner flap and having quite the time getting it unstuck. Easy to zip, once you figure out how to keep the flap out of the way.

Poor quality, sizing, and design.
First off I have had these pants for over a year now. The originals I ordered were far too large and had to be returned. That seemed to go fine no real complaints there. As for quality, these seemed ok for the price initially, but the zipper turned out to be very low quality an broke after about a month and the snap buttons come undone every time I mount the bike. So honestly the only thing keeping them on is the velcro. The larger size was enormous on me, but these seemed to be the best fit I could get. The knee pads are also far too low on me, but are close enough when I am in riding position so that I didnt immediately return them. Another problem I have is the fact that they are so slippery on the seat of my bike, I slide all the way up to the gas tank when I wear them. Now for the accident. These pants did very little to protect my legs as they ripped right through (and my jeans underneath). Am I better off for having worn them (compared to wearing just jeans), sure, but I felt like they should have held up much better. I would expect any pants to be in pretty rough shape after an accident and would expect to replace them after, but I also would expect them to protect my body since that is their sole purpose. I am sorry to say that these pants did not hold up their end of the bargain and I am a sadly disappointed customer.

Comfortable and hope never to need the protection
Lots of questions about sizes, so I’ll add my data point:Ordered: “large long”I’m 6’2”, 180 pounds, 33 waist, 34-35 inseam. Without any adjustments, they slid easily over a pair of jeans with “regular” legs. In temperatures from 40 to 70 I find this just fine. (Ie leaving the insulation and liner installed).I tried them on with a pair of shorts, they were still comfortable (though I took the waist in an inch). The lining doesn’t bother my skin and when I got pulled into a phone call upon arriving home, I forgot I was wearing them till I walked around (they do make noise, but only noticeable in a home with no other sound. When riding I needed just a few minutes to adjust to the slight difference in how my seating position feels. I don’t think it made any noticeable difference in comfort, but at freeway speeds, It cut down on the buffeting I normally felt and especially in cooler temps it made a huge difference keeping my ankles and lower legs comfortable.I like the black because I can walk into a store more or less fit right in. Other than an easily missed logo near one knee, they don’t have any decorations, my preference. Some people have mentioned discomfort from the knee pads. I didn’t notice them at all, whether sitting on a chair, bike, or walking. Same with the hip pads.Plenty of pockets, I have to take my gloves off to open them but that’s only a couple wearings. Maybe I’ll get more adept at it with practice.

Good pants, get the larger size
Got a smaller pair at first, based on what was recommended (Large). Was way too small for me, decided to get the XXL jic (6'1", 215) and it fits very well. Definitely recommend getting one size bigger than what you thought because the waist adjusts down well if necessary
