This is a very understandable translation of the Gathas.

I love that Zarathushtra's message in the Gathas never ages and this book is a great English addition. I do wish it provided a bit more context, history for the not so familiar individual but I'm happy to add it to my library. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed Pablo's rendering of the Gathas. I think he did an excellent job at detailing, from the introduction, terms that might be foreign or difficult for the English reader to discern. I appreciate that we finally have what looks to be a solid translation of the Gathas into English especially for those looking to learn more and practice the Zoroastrian faith here in the West.As Zoroastrianism continues to grow here in the States and with very few notable hard copies of the english translations of the Gathas available, I'd wager this copy of the Gathas will become very resourceful for many.Highly recommend!

i will not trust a translation of this book from the agenda of the LGBTQ "modern audience". I'd like my money back- it digusts me to think i supported this cause.

Pablo Vazquez has done Zoroastrians, academics, and spiritual seekers a great service in this translation. Himself a practicing Zoroastrian, he's taken great care to faithfully convey the meaning of the original Avestan language while simultaneously providing English readers an aesthetically pleasing, poetic presentation in the spirit of Zarathustra's own verse. An excellent rendering of the Gathas from an insider's perspective, and a phenomenal supplement to previous (less elegant) academic translations.
