What is the weight limit of this grab bar?

I believe the information with the bar talks about 300lbs. We have used the wingets system for mounting and they have a 600 lb limit.

What are the dimensions of the rectanglular support plate?

11.5 inches high by 5.75 inches wide. Horizontally, the center of the screw holes are 4.75 inches apart. This is a problem unless you have extra studs in your bathroom walls. I got lucky because of the extra window and plumbing support studs near my mounting location

Would this flip up grab bar work for assistance in getting into and out of bed?
