If you have a Zoom recorder, you must have it. The case offers the necessary protection against daily use. It is practical and easy to adapt to your needs, it has several pieces and it is padded. Offers waterproof protection in wet or rainy conditions. I totally recommend it.

Amazing case. Exactly what I was looking for, and at the price I wanted to pay. I purchased the zoom accessory kit and the furry windscreen fits perfectly while this case is on. I bought the recorder for portable location recording, and this case privides protection and multiple mounting options for securing itit firmly to gear. Well thought out and produced design for budget price. Thank you

I purchased this for my Tascam DR-40 and while I haven't gone out to record with it yet a couple things are immediately apparent. Upon arrival I noticed that some of the thread keeping the velcro on the top cover has already been cut and begun un-doing itself basically starting to pull the velcro patch right off which is a bit concerning when considering the longevity of the product.Generally speaking the amount of accessibility this gives is great. You can open up the sides, front, top, and bottom without much issue at all. Given how it was somewhat difficult getting my device into the bag though one problem I do foresee is when I need to do a battery change. There is no easy way, at least with a Tascam DR-40 to open up the back to replace the batteries, so any time there is a battery change I will have to go through some trouble unplugging everything and pulling it entirely out of the pouch before putting it all back together.The product was only $20 so you do get what you pay for, just have to see how it holds up after a couple shoots.

I had been under the impression that this case would fully cover, and thus fully protect, my Zoom H4n digital recorder. However, the twin X/Y microphones stick out on top, and can get rained on, so I don't see the point of this thing. It has clear plastic that covers the recorder's front screen and buttons, and sides that open up for access to the side buttons, but you really have to take the recorder out of the case to use it, because pushing the record button and the others on the front through the clear plastic is problematic. All in all, I am not happy with this purchase.
