Great product
This seasoning rub was a Christmas gift for a friend and he loved it. He loves the versatility, you can rub this on any meal and it will improve the flavor dramatically. He uses it all the time and I am sure you will love it as much as he does.

Mild Jerk seasoning
I've been a fan of Jerk Chicken for 20-30 years. I used to like it hot. Walkers Wood hot is great for that, leave it on the chicken for over 24 hours, gets hotter and hotter. This is not that. Over the years I found my self adding more and more all-spice to the Walkers Wood, preferring the normal heat to the HOT. At some point, I revisited Busha Brown Jerk and find it to be delicious as is. I've also evolved my preference to smoking the chicken on a pellet smoker. I still recommend marinating with the Jerk seasoning for over night. Depending how much chicken I'm going to smoke, for reference say 7 pounds of bone in thighs, I'd put three heaping tablespoons and five table spoons of good olive oil in a metal bowl. The olive oil helps the Jerk stick to the chicken. Mix that up good. Then I'd press the chicken, bare handed but you should wear glove {filthy}, into the oil/Busha-Brown Jerk. The anointed chicken is put into Tupperware and not taken out until its ready to go into the smoker. There something about the cold that makes the chicken smoke better, more crispy. This works both low-and-slow as well as at 325F for 30-40 minutes (test the fattest thigh with a temp probe, till +165, don't worrry if they get hotter, I see even 10+ pounds hit 175F in under an hour. Enjoy, great product, I also have smeared it on steak on the grill a bunch of times plus if you have access to fresh Catfish, that's a realy treat jerked. I used to make Jerk beef jerky with the Walkers Wood but haven't in years, I would love to hear if you try the Busha Brown for beef jerky, bet its a treat.

Jerk spice enhances any meat
Love the rub on pork for the smoker. It also was really good on chicken wings.

Excellent rub or marinade
This paste is one of my favorites. It’s the closest thing I have found to things I used to get when I lived in the Caribbean. I usually take a couple of tablespoons and mix in some olive oil to make a marinade which can be used on pork, chicken or even vegetable vegetables. Great flavor and not overwhelming. You can adjust the degree of heat with the olive oil very easily.

Great flavor but expensive.
This is a really good jerk seasoning that we used to buy in the grocery stores. It's been about 20 years. This is very expensive to what it used to be. For about a quarter of the money, there is a Lawry's jerk seasoning that comes in a bottle that looks like salad dressing. It doesn't need to be mixed with anything. Just pour over the meat to marinate and it's really good - especially for the money. This brand is a thick paste that you mix with oil and let stand. Then mix over meat. It will need some salt added.
