SUBRILLI 0.6mm Superfine Diamond Wire Cutting Saw Blade for Jade Metal Marble Granite (3 Meters/Lot)

Laying on my back, with two small vice grips clamped to this wire, i could cut off 3” OD stainless steel exhaust pipe in about 1/2 hour...took a few breaks however.Works better with a cutting fluid like Pro TapI made a clamp on guide from a split half collar to make a straight cutUpdate: ive now used 4 packages of this to cut off 4 pcs of SS exhaust pipe, under my car. It cuts very well but if used too vigorously the wire heats so hot the wire stretches and breaks . So, order a few packs, and finish the job.....a bit of work, but there is no other way you can cut off SS exhaust pipe in place.Really amazing

This size wire is too thin to be cutting anything but soft cheese with. The "diamond" coating was gone in minutes and the wire is really brittle. I will try a size at least twice as thick and see if the diamond coating will last longer. To add I was using the wire on a hand coping saw so it wasnt like I burnt it up in a machine or anythingand I used it wet.

I purchased a thinner wire months ago that lasted 5 seconds on annealed silver. This thicker gauge is perfect and cuts like butter. I suggest using oil when cutting.

Worked great on resin knife blanks but when I made cloth micarta it cut for a little bit and snapped in two.
