The lids may lock securely in place, but they do not create an airtight seal. It's quite easy to remove the lid without much effort, which means the containers are not as airtight as they claim to be. This lack of a true airtight seal could potentially affect the shelf life and freshness of the stored items, especially in the long run.

The 1.8 l container was received broken, the air seal isn’t strong, haven’t used them though as product received wad faulty.But seems not to have strong air seal.
