Not for 12" mirror ball - don't believe them.

It can't handle a 12" ball as advertised. It can't handle even slightly over 1kg (it advertises 2kg). Would probably work for a very light mirror ball. Cheap, plastic construction. I'm returning mine, but even if it worked for me, it doesn't feel sturdy enough to last more than a few hours total.
