AwePackage Peel-and-Stick Tin Tie - 5-1/2 inch (Black, 100)

We're not using these to tie or seal anything shut. We use these as the over the nose piece in face masks we're sewing together. The sticky side helps them stay in place until we get them sewn in. They help the mask stay sealed better over the nose. They are very well made, sturdy, and should last a long time. We have used these for awhile now, and everybody loves them. Best thing we've found to use so far.

These work absolutely perfectly for shaping the nose and face area for a mask. Very happy with them. I trim the ends to be more rounded so they aren't as sharp. I pull the paper off before I stick it to the material of the mask. Then I sew the hem down. I've washed masks with this on them and they are holding up fine. It really does a great job of keeping the nose and cheek area close to the face.

I bought these for making masks. They worked very well. I cut them down to about 2/3 of their length. I sewed them into the mask between layers. The glue helped in keeping it in place until it was sewn. I have washed the masks many time (by hand) with no issues. I feel they will last a long time. I wish they sold them in smaller quantities, as I have no need for 100 of them.

Using for nose piece in masks that I sew. The width is perfect, the sticky area makes turning the mask to the right side easier. They allow a close fit to the nose and cheekbone area. I snip them to about 1” shorter.

We use this in our Richboro COFFEE shop along with 1 pound bags to add easy closure to bags that do not have their own tin ties!

Used these for mask making, work great! Sticky side was a bit challenging at first as I was trying to slide it in between two pieces of fabric that were sewn with intention to barely leave room for these to be inserted, so started using without peeling the tape off which worked much better. They get washed with the masks, no problem. Have washed multiple times and they have held up well.

When I make face masks, I add a nose sleeve for wire to fit the mask better around the nose/eye/eyeglasses area to reduce fogging of the lenses. This is perfect. I remove the strip that covers the adhesive, press some toilet paper to the adhesive itself, then gently remove it. This keeps the ties from sticking to the cotton mask fabric, and thus easy to insert and then remove for laundering.

These strips are recommended by the pattern designer of the face masks I am making, which are awesome. One strip can be cut in half to make two 2-1/2" nose clips for face masks. They work perfectly and hold their shape much better than the pipe cleaners I had been using. An added plus....the seller, BigHugTime, gets a 5 star rating, too.

I use them for the nose piece on my face mask and they work well. I just use an adhesive cleaner to take off the sticky adhesive and they work great with the pattern I use for the face masks.
