Vibram FiveFingers Lontra Women's Shoes

I am so grateful I read the reviews. I normally wear a size 38, but ordered the 39 in this style. They do run small! The 39 fits perfectly.

These shoes are too small! I have another pair of fivefingers that fit perfectly but, after reading the reviews, I ordered these one size larger. Trust me, one size is not enough! I suggest ordering two sizes larger than you'd normally wear. My toes were jamming into the end of the shoe so much that one nail bruised and just recently fell off - I don't even wear them with socks!I'm still giving these 4 stars because, after using a few interesting methods for stretching the toes out, these now fit well enough to run at least 4 miles in. They are still snug but no longer hurt to wear. These keep my feet from freezing in the NY winters, which is pretty important to me. I like that I can run through a small puddle and don't have to worry about getting them wet, they are reasonably waterproof.

I wanted to love these so i was going to disregard how hard it was to put my foot through the opening. This model is smaller than my other vibram 5 fingers size 7. Also the web space between 4th and 5th toes was sharp. Had to return

As an owner of 3 other pairs of FiveFingers, I am very impartial to these amazing shoes.However, this particular model is so stiff and uncomfortable, I had to send it back.

I have been wearing Vibrams--first Komodos then Bikalas- for the last 2 years for running and LOVE them. So when I heard about the Lontras I thought they would be perfect for northwest winters. I have tried ordering two pairs--only the second ones were through Amazon--and both were faulty in the right shoe. I understand how a persons right and left foot are different but when I put my fingers in each shoe there is no way the toes can get into the second and third toe area of the right shoe and the separation material of the toes in the right shoe is dramatically stiffer. I even called Vibram to see if they could be counterfeit but the buyers were both reputable. So sadly I returned them which has been no problem but I would still like to be able to try the shoe.

I have a few pairs of the Vibram shoes, including the Bikilas and the Jayas, but it is difficult for me to wear these styles in the cold weather, which is why I love the Lontra Trail Runner. It offers everything those of us who love vibram shoes and the barefoot technology offers, but it also provides stronger construction, a thicker sole, and higher height (up to ankles). When worn barefoot, you're feet will be warm, and for those extra cold days, I added the iniji socks.

I have the trail running and walking Vibram Five FIngers in size 38. Not heading the warning of others I ordered the 38 and could not fit my naked foot in them, let alone thick socks for the cold!I got a 40 next time around and they fit great! Head the warning! Size up or you'll regret it.Also, great shoes! Haven't used them in the cnow yet but worked great in below 30 degree weather.

they fit extremely perfect, was really difficult for me to put on but once i did they felt like a 2nd skin, walked around the house for about 30 mins an i for got i had them on :) would definitely buy more in the furniture!
