An excellent go to book on SCRUM
Short, Precise and Handy. Long for a pamphlet but short for a book, this is a helpful introduction to scrum. It is clearly-written, well-organized, and is probably one of the most practical and handy book on SCRUM I have seen till date. I bought this book as a job aid to learn the elements of Agile in a small amount of time. I bought a separate book prior to this that was just too much to digest. I was pleased to have found and consumed this book in just about 30 minutes and got a solid understanding of Agile project management. Simple, complete, and to the point. This is the clif-notes of Agile. I wish more introductory books were like this one: skipping the waffle, delivering just the gist of the subject.

Wonderful
There is a lot packed into this compact guide. It will be useful for those who are beginners to the concepts as well as a great way or anyone familiar with SCRUM and agile methodology to brush up or organize their plan. It goes over all of the key concepts and when to use them. There are handy summaries and useful exercises at the end of each chapter as well as diagrams and charts that make it easy to understand.. The language used is clear and concise. A very good guide.

Most readable, accessible, compact, and complete Scrum book I've seen
A very good book. Captures the whole extent of Scrum in a very complete, detailed, yet readable package. Even so, it manages a convenient, small size (two hours reading), and the organization easily lends itself to quick brush-ups. Covers the whole project life cycle, including customizations like Kanban.Highly recommended for anyone learning Scrum while trying to keep up with an experienced team. I was particularly pleased with the attention given to such decision points as When (and when not) to use Scrum. As a slight down side: some of the dangers of naive Scrum are not called out specifically. For example, first-time teams often give the same person both the role of Scrum Master and Product Owner--which makes it a bit more like familiar models. But this separation is crucial to preserving the integrity of the process, which is the only way you can ever get to predictable, repeatable commitments and deliveries.

Thank you Aditi
As a Business Lead I was unprepared for the company’s adoption of Agile over Waterfall. I was stuck in old but proven development method. I sat in a few CA seminars and webcast but still could not connect the dots. This beautifully outlined and practical book brought me to the place of understanding. I read it twice. I ordered copies for my team. Thank you.

Preciso para entender los fundamentos. Quizá con ejemplos más integrados podría ser más útil; sin embargo, si tienes experiencia entenderás mejor

A very comprehensive but very readable overview of scrum
The book gives a very comprehensive overview of SCRUM and the agile methodology. The book covers many, many aspects from sprint to user stories including technical debt. I especially liked the entrepreneur example with web development project. The charts and diagrams are very well done. Excellent book.
