🚀 Ignite your inner physicist and never miss a moment of discovery!
The Physics Experiment Kit offers 24 interactive experiments that teach fundamental physics concepts such as inertia, motion laws, centripetal force, and acceleration. It includes a precision stopwatch, a functional balance scale, and a 48-page illustrated manual authored by Dr. Penny Norman, PH.D. Awarded for educational excellence, this kit is perfect for ages 8 to 80, blending hands-on learning with engaging visuals and online animations to deepen understanding.

Best kit!
This kit is the best kit I got so far. There's many good experiments to try. My favorite experiment is the water rocket. I recommend this kit to anyone who likes science.

Perfect for little scientists
I purchased this kit, along with the ScienceWiz Electricity kit for my 8-year-old nephew. He loved both, but this was his favorite of the two.The experiments in the kit were easy to do, while being fun and educational. This is a great toy for young minds.

BUY IT IF YOU LIKE YOUR CHILD TO BE FRUSTRATED
THIS IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE. THE SCALE WAS NOT MADE AS PICTURED. IT DID NOT WORK. YOU COULD NOT HOOK THE PARTS TOGETHER ON THE SCALE. THE CAR DID NOT WORK. THOSE ARE THE FIRST TWO EXPERIMENTS HE TRIED. MY SON WAS EXCITED TO TRY IT AND IN THE END BECAME FRUSTRATED BECAUSE NOTHING WORKED.

Educational
Well thought out experiments help kids understand basic physics principles that a lot of kids wouldn't get to until high school. My bright 8-year old needed help to perform all of the experiments, and certainly to understand them - this is not something kids his age can do themselves and get something out of.This not the kind of kit that my son is likely to go back to and use or play with over the year (unlike the elenco electronics kit he has). There's about a day and a half of activities here and there isn't much variation built in. So price is a little high for the value. As a previous reviewer said, quality of parts is okay but not great.Kudos to the kit maker for their efforts at making Newton's laws of motions accessible.

Too simplistic for my eight-year-old
This was too simplistic for my eight-year-old. I think that if people are leaning toward buying this, it's likely because they already have a young person in their lives who already developed an interest in science, especially physics. With words like dork and geek becoming badges of honor amongst this generation, and shows like Big Bang Theory spurring kids to want to be scientists, more and more kids are learning more about science at a much earlier age than their parents. In our area, teachers are focusing so much on STEM, and science projects have taken center stage (even in first grade). That's why I bought this. And that is precisely why it was a disappointment. This experiment kit might have held the imagination and attention of a kid captive 20 years ago, but not now. It was boring.I would think that if a kid was not exposed at all to science and someone wanted to get them interested, this might be something to interest them. But for today's elementary kids, no. And middle schoolers will be way too sophisticated for it.

Got kids? Buy this!
I bought this kit for my niece (7 years old) and the Chemistry set for my nephew (9 years old) for Christmas. I also sent them each a remote controlled helicopter. On Christmas Day, my brother called me and told me that he & his kids had been conducting experiments all afternoon, and they loved it. All of those toys that they had been given (including the remote controlled helicopters) remained under the tree, while they bounced from the kitchen to the living room to the back deck conducting experiment after experiment TOGETHER. They were having a blast. The thank you cards that I received from each of them a couple of weeks later thanked me for the Physics & Chemistry sets and told tales of the experiments they had conducted with their parents, with this little addition at the bottom, "The helicopter was nice. Thank you for that, too."I don't have children. But from what I can tell, they like doing fun stuff that amazes them. This Christmas, I'll be sending more science sets...

sciencewiz
It's ok, not bad but not great. It has cool ideas for kids to do but, the items are made very cheap for what you pay for it. But, it will help teach your kids about science hands on. I won't buy items like this again, will look for another company.

Great gift!
My son loves this! He got it as a Christmas present and pulls it out everyday! He even tries to use what he's learned to do different experiments!
