My favorite
Ensure seems to be the product most people are familiar with and I don't know if they even make a pudding. Boost is Milk based while Ensure is soy based. I cannot tolerate soy so I tried boost and even though I have some issues with being lactose intolerant I can eat this Boost pudding as well as their Boost Drink without any problems. It tastes good and gives me the vitamins and nutrition I need to keep me alive on the days I am too sick to cook or fix a well balanced diet. I have also had their vanilla and it seems to me that a few years back they also had butterscotch, though I've not seen Butterscotch recently. All three pudding flavors taste good, but I prefer them in this order, Chocolate, Butterscotch then vanilla last. I am only able to afford this product now because of the reasonable price that Amazon can carry them for. My only complaint is that when I order a case, approximately 50% of the time there are crushed cans from shipping. This last delivery there were 3 cans that were so bad I could not even get them open. This is the only down side for me, which is not acceptable, but as long as it doesn't continue to get worse then I will continue to risk the 50% odds.

Not happy with the new container which makes you waste more of the product.
Boost pudding is a great product. This chocolate pudding liquefies faster than the vanilla flavored one. If you are on a thickened dysphagia diet or with swallowing issues, this would be good to know. It doesn't keep the pudding consistency for a long time once opened. This product was shown to be packaged in a thin can. But I got mine in plastic packs which tends to hold a lot of the pudding left at the bottom and is hard to scrape/ spoon out the rest of the product. The tin can was easier to scrape and you could get most of it out. It is the design of this new plastic pack which makes it more difficult to get the rest of the pudding and you end up wasting the left over in the bottom which sticks to the bumpy side and you aren't able to spoon it out.

decent taste, HUGE price
my father-in-law is in need of extra calories but the price on these is so high I don't think we will be spending over seventy dollars on pudding again. I found high 500 plus calorie/protein boost drinks better for the money. 70.22 for 48 cups is wow! expensive.
