I needed to replace an old Samsung tablet and like this one so much better. It's a great size for reading and it's 'lite', like the description says.

Note to those buying this, this is the EU version. When you first turn it on, it will ask for language, then country. The list of countries is only EU countries. There does not seem to be a way to change whatever you pick after the fact. It doesn't seem to affect anything, except the location the system defaults to if it can't figure out where you are.The charger that came with this was, of course, an EU charger, with an adapter to make it a 2 prong US plug in a little bag outside of the box.Overall, the tablet works fine, will update if I find any issues with regions and whatnot, but so far, doesn't seem to affect anything.

I use this tablet mainly to read kindle books, surf the web, and watch Youtube videos. It does that very well. No lag, no freezeups, just steady performance. I retired my sluggish Lenovo Tab M8, that tablet would take several seconds to switch apps, load up, and was always slow as balls. The Samsung Tab A7 Lite has made my leisure time a lot better, I'm really happy with it so far.

Unsure of my feelings on it. . It does get the job done, but it lags like an early 1990 laptop. But for the price point it is hard to complain too much.

Tablet quality great. As it ages doesn't hold charge as long.

I use it for reading and keep it in airplane mode and the battery STILL doesn't last more that a couple of days. It's as slow as my last tablet but at least that battery lasted! For like 2 weeks! And this one doesn't even have a real, regular plug. I would have thought these things would have improved but the opposite is true. So disappointed.
