Good scissor size for older child and work well although the handles are hard plastic instead of rubber type so it is uncomfortable after a while.

Lovely and sharp.. I got green which is perfect since I wanted a gender neutral colour. I like that the nose is blunt but they are sharp enough to do a nice cut in the paper.. My son prefers these over other scissors and I think it's due to his satisfaction of the clean cut. He hasn't had any nicks from these and they fit comfortable in his hand at 2 years of age

When my first child entered school, I put together a little pencil box for her to use when she did her homework. Pencils, erasers, glue, and scissors. I let her help me choose the scissors and she like these because they were the same ones she had in Kindergarten.These scissors have supported many school projects and I've even bought a second pair for my other child. These are great little scissors, they cut well, and they really fit the kids' hands. When they grab my kitchen scissors for a quick cut, I always think there's going to be a scissors mishap, but I've always felt comfortable with them using these Crayola scissors.

When Covid-19 hit, many people found they needed to wash items (like kids' scissors) in a dishwasher as we didn't know if Covid-19 would be transmissible by items like scissors. Because Crayola scissors have a stainless steel pin at the center, all the ones we own have survived many dishwasher washings. We also use these in the kitchen to open various packages, and we keep these clean by putting them in the dishwasher. Crayola scissors do not rust.Fiskars scissors have a screw in the middle connecting the blades. The screw is not stainless steel but merely basic steel with a shiny plating (cadmium), so Fiskars scissors we own have rusted quickly, and the Fiskars scissors must be thrown out after just a few washings.So, when the next pandemic hits, Crayola scissors will be the ones to buy. Plus, even if you only use them in the kitchen, they can be washed again and again without rusting. Easy for our toddler to use. They cut nicely but are nice and safe for her to use (supervised, of course). Fun for cutting practice on paper or outside, cutting blades of grass, stems, leaves, etc. These are particularly good for our left-handed kid who can use either hand for these scissors. How I wish I'd had some lefty scissors that could actually cut anything when I was a kid!

I wanted some baby safe scissors for my nursery. These were shipped fast, great price, and seem like good quality for my needs. They may not last if constant usage but good for me.

I bought these for my son who had never used scissors before. I also purchased the Kumon Workbook, My First Book of Cutting to go with them. He's been cutting away through paper and fabric with ease. The tips are blunt but the blades are real scissor blades so little ones will get cut if they aren't careful. I wanted them to be real scissors though so my son wouldn't be frustrated with scissors that didn't really work.

My two year old likes to use it. The scissors are sharp enough to cut paper cleanly and does not frustrate on the functionality end. I have used them on occasion for my own projects. The tip is blunt as pictured which greatly reduces the chance of injury. My child uses them with either hand so lefties could also use these with no problem. We received a red pair of scissors.
