are these actually slippers or are they made for something else because a lot of the questions here seem to be geared towards shoes Orthopedics Etc?

The Isotoner slippers ARE GOOD QUALITY! I don't know what brand these others are wearing, but I have worn these for years - 20 hours a day in winter and other chilly weather for several years. They have a wonderful footbed and are toasty. I have to change to slide style sandals in warm weather because I get too hot. I am mostly housebound and only wear memory foam lined shoes for outside and slippers for inside. My feet are severely arthritic and walking is painful so I rely on these for all of my indoor moving, which is most of the time! No slip soles are wonderful for me and they work outside on paved surfaces.

Do these slippers have a slightly elevated heel than rest of shoe or does the foot bed sit flat?

They are flat. The bottom is all memory foam and conforms to your foot. I did not feel there was any elevation at all.

Do these offer any arch support?

No they don't. They do have a hard plastic bottom so you can go outside in them if you wish. They are warm and comfortable but there is no arch support. When my feet hurt i have to change out of them into my sneakers for a while. Apparently the dogs give them a big thumbs up. They stole one of my almost a week ago and I still haven't found it.

I washed these in the washing machine and they are now falling apart can I get another pair sent to me please?
