My 9 yr old grandson got this for Christmas. He played with the RC chassis all Christmas day. The remote requires 2 AA batteries, not included, and the chassis is rechargeable with a USB cord. He had so much fun just racing the chassis around. He assembled the body later, at home. He's a LEGO builder and so found this a very doable project, by himself. The car goes fast, and the body seems to hold up to bumps and carpeted stairs.

My son (10 yrs old), really enjoyed building this car. The RC portion is not bad, it could be quicker, which would be nice. He has enjoyed driving it around. The charge seems to last a good amount of time when operating the car on smooth surfaces. Overall a fun and durable RC car for anyone.

My son loves this. It’s a good size, and if it breaks, you can put it back together.

My 11 year old had a great time putting his car together. It was a really good level of difficulty, not too easy where it was boring and Unengaging but not so hard where he wanted to give up. When we had an issue with the battery, the seller’s customer service was excellent!

Absolutely awesome customer service response. My 9 year old son built both the cars we ordered in least than 45 minutes, he loves them. Before these cars he had never saved any LEGO creation, but in this case the cars are still intact cuz he absolutely loves them. Recently, the steering assembly broke when the car bumped in a doorway, so I reached out to the company and got prompt response on a Sunday. Have never gotten such good response before for an after sale issue for a product purchased 10 months ago. Great job team.

I got this for my son as a Christmas present and he loved it! There was one problem which was we were missing one piece. I contacted customer service and they sent a whole bunch of replacement parts in case we were missing more! That was so nice! He finished putting it together and he loves it! I will be purchasing some of the different cars and trucks in the future. And customer service was awesome!

This thing is a bit of a nightmare to assemble for young kids, so adults you're likely to be doing it for them. It also tends to come apart when it crashes into things at full speed. Also be mindful of the battery pack and charger. We had the plug rip off the wires to the battery pack. Couldn't find a replacement.
