Returned first purchase as they were not 3mm size. Promptly sent replacement, but still the wrong size (5mm).I'd prefer the 3mm but i'll use these eventually.

I have never tried paper quilling before and it shows, BUT I’m having fun learning. This kit is a great beginners set. It arrived missing two tools/parts, but I was offered a small refund to make up for that. Overall a great value and set. I’ve only made the one project, so I can’t speak to durability or longevity of the tools, but I have no reason to think they’d break easily as a couple other reviewers mentioned. That hasn’t been my experience so far. I would recommend this kit.

I saw a piece of quilling artwork and wanted to try this myself. I bought this kit and so glad I did because it comes with everything needed and a heavy duty case that holds everything for me. While this is my first time using this and doing this type of artwork, I found it to be very helpful. This kit comes with everything you need to get started and actually create something. The variety of tools allows you to take the strips of paper and not just wrap them around but to create different shapes and even crimp them. The paper that this kit comes with comes with a variety of colors and it doesn't bleed or come off onto my fingers while using them. I love all of the colors and they're so vibrant. This kit even comes with templates to help you get started and even shows you how each picture will or should come out. The instructions are very helpful too.
