BASESAILOR HDMI Male to USBC Female Cable Adapter with Power Charging Cable,U...

After many hours of research and failed attempts to find an adapter that would enable my LG Ultrafine 4K to plug into the HDMI output of my Windows laptop, this is the only solution that has actually worked for me. I am able to run at the native screen resolution (4K), or my preferred 1920x1080 (1/4 scaling). I did have to force the laptop to output at a higher resolution, as it would max out at 1280x720 otherwise. Surprisingly I was also able to drive my Apple Studio Display 5K screen via the adapter at 2560x1440 (1/4 scaling) via a USB 4 cable. The unit does run a little hotter than expected and I would have preferred a USB C power input (rather than Micro USB), but otherwise I have no complaints and intend to purchase a spare. One little quirk is that the screen has to be connected after the adapter has been powered up. If you remove power to the adapter, the USB C has to be disconnected and then reconnected (otherwise the screen does not turn on).

I bought a 15.6" portable Asus USB c monitor which is powered through the display port. After getting the monitor I realised my laptop output was hdmi. No other connectors worked, a simple usbc/hdmi connector didn't have the power to get the screen to work, the connector with power didn't work as the connection for the display was going the wrong way (hdmi output to USB c input). This worked, it provides enough power plugging the micro usb lead into my computer usb and the display works and goes the right way. Fantastic bit of kit without spending the earth and buying a hub which costs as much as the screen.

This product is a lifesaver. I have a portable monitor where the female mini HDMI connector broke and regressed into the body of the monitor (not good). I assumed that connecting two USBC cables from the Mac mini into the monitor would work - it didn’t. I searched for “HDMI to USBC output” in Amazon and this was the only product that met my requirements. I plugged it all in and I am happy to say I can use my monitor once again, this gadget requires extra power provided by an asditional USB cable which I think is what solved the video signal issue. Display and sound are perfect. Highly recommended this product.

Don't work with Apple Studio Display. It is possible the Studio Display does not support USB-C DP Alt Mode, but only Thunderbolt-3. However, it works on another 27" 2560x1440 display, but that display natively support HDMI/DP ports, which is making this adapter pointless. So I give it 4 stars.

Bought for nreal glasses from my pc and xbox series s. Works on xbox but no sound and only 50hz. Did not work on my pc gtx 1070 i7 7700k 32gb ram and m.2 ssd. No display at all on pc and the power connector on the adapter itself is dodgy herd to get in line.

Like many, needed something like this for the Steam Deck and Nreal Air display glasses so I could charge the Deck at the same time as playing with the glasses. There was a display bug at first, but the latest firmware for the Air's fixed this and now the output is perfect. Small size, and short cable work well if you have a USB hub or breakout adapter, and unlike some others, the microUSB port was aligned as it should be. As always be wary of quality control on these minor brands, but they do work.

So I've ordered this to connect my Asus USB C portable screen to my company laptop through HDMI, so I can still use the only USB C on the laptop to charge it. When I tried it on the laptop, it didn't show me any life sign at all. When I tested it on my desktop PC: The screen turned on this time BUT there was no signal for the picture and also the adapter became extremely hot, like burning hot, even smelt some burnt, felt hazardous, so I rather turned it off. So after all I can see that this is not a great product at all and it's not even serving the only 1 purpose it has: to safely transfer a picture to an external USB C device while it also powers it. Avoid at any cost and please let me know if anyone knows any product which actually works for this purpose.

I bought two of these adapters, one to use with my main pc, and another to work with my Melee Quieter 2 fanless PC. Both adapters work with no faults to report. I even used this with my playstation one (with an additional video out to HDMI adapter of course). If you're looking to use one cable to power and get video playback from your USB-C monitor from a HDMI source; then this cable is it. It's so bizarre that there's only one seller selling this adapter. Everyone and their granny is selling "USB-C to HDMI" adapters. I was tempted to buy the SUNIX UPD2018 USB-C DP PCIE card, but thought I'd try this first. Super glad I did as the SUNIX UPD2018 cost £71 at the time of me writing this review, and these adapters cost £22.99. Bottomline is, this adapter will allow you to connect ANY old HDMI device to a USB-C monitor, and that is just absolutely amazing! Using one skinny USB-C cable to power a monitir is something I never knew was possible until a week ago, LoL!

Worked perfectly from my hdmi Mac laptop to a Cinema Display 33”

Hallo, bei mir funktioniert der Adapter perfekt. Da ich an meinen Oled Monitor zu wenig HDMI Eingänge habe brauchte ich diesen Adapter für mein altes Arbeitsnotebook. Habe den USB C Adapter mit Strom versorgt und ein USB C auf DP Kabel am Monitor angeschlossen und es kam sofort ein Bild. Danach habe ich noch ein USB C auf USB C Kabel Versucht auch hier klappt die Verbindung einwandfrei. Kann den Adapter nur empfehlen! Hoffe erhält auch länger und gibt es noch lange zu kaufen. Leider gibt es ja keine Alternativen. Hatte zurvor ein HDMI auf DP aktives Kabel eines anderen Herstellerst das ständig kein Signal ausgab. Hier ist es viel besser! Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Hij doet het prima! Een prima oplossing voor mijn 2 asus zenscreen. Mijn laptop heeft slechts 2 dp usb c poorts. Als ik 2 monitoren wil aansluiten via de usb c poorts heb ik er geen poort meer over voor mijn etherne kabel hub. Nu kan ik een monitor aansluiten via hdmi in en een ander aansluiten via usb c.
