Excellent filter, excellent price. We've used them in our sailboat's watermaker for two years now without a single issue. Works as promised.

I rigged an under sink filter housing to remove green algae from my fish tank. You couldn't even see the fish it got so bad. I used this 1 micron filter, the housing, a small pump and some tubing. In about 12 hours the water was crystal clear. I know this isn't the cure for the tank but it was the easiest method to get it clear. The pic is of the filter after it cleaned the tank

Fits my filter housing perfectly. I believe its almost a universal fit. It seems to be filtering ok. The water taste fine along with the ice from the refrigerator.

I tried a no-name brand and they were bad. Had to spend the extra money for the Pentair filters. They work perfectly. I will never go back to knock-off filters.

Inexpensive filter for basic whole house filtration, and lasts us in southern Indiana for about a month before changing. Does what it advertises, and does a great job removing sediment and minerals. I like especially that it is not a polypropaline-wound filter too, as in my experience they disintegrate over time and the particles wash downstream into your home. I would recommend to others!

The filter does a better job than the less expensive ones. Fits well into sediment container.
