My son uses it to chase the fish in his mom's tank. She's not particularly happy about it, but he smiles. So it's worth it.

This little sub is legit. It has a ballast which you control via the remote, and uses a water jets to turn it left and right. The fun of it is tweaking the ballast as you go to get it roughly neutrally buoyant at the depth you wish. It’s very maneuverable and the controls are solid. It’s “cheap” and clicky remote gets the job done and this little submarine is very responsive. It’s well designed. Perfect for the hot tub it’s deeply impressive, see what I did there? Cheese aside, the only niggle I have with it is the charger. I believe the charger did charge it up but I can’t tell because the light doesn’t work on the charger OR the charger was DOA. I won’t know until my next charge. My 14 year old was piloting the boat for this video and she quickly got a handle on it. It’s cheap, but also impressively designed. Probably the best micro sub out there from what I’ve found.

bought this for my grandson, a little sceptical at first, WOW, was I wrong. it’s heavy for its size, not a cheap plastic toy. has a remote, sinks well and goes wherever you press the buttons, it will go that direction 👍👍👍👍👍. GOOD BUY😻

Lasted two days. Won’t by a product for them again.

Showed up, looked new. Wouldn’t dive. Took it apart to see if it was something easy, and holy. It looks like this thing has been sitting in battery acid for years, and the brown goo coating the inside of the shell was slightly concerning as I had only attempted to submerge it in clean water. Turns out the motor that drives the diving mechanism was seized solid. Another fine piece of quality garbage!
