CONFUSING BOX!

The box mentions a particular disc battery and I could not find a mention that they were included. After scoping out several stores unsuccessfully I googled for an equivalent battery. That made it easier. The box said each gnome needed two batteries. Good. Though they were packed in threes I didn't mind spending more for the extras. I eviscerated the poor gnome only to discover that he already HAD batteries! But not two/gnome.....but three. Anyway all was well in the end. They lit up nicely... maybe too nicely as it seemed brighter than necessary. I wouldn't buy it again, but then, I'm not into gnomes. My gnome loving niece LOVE them!

Eats batteries!

They are so cute, but they eat batteries like crazy. They are nice and bright for 1 day and then start dimming and dimming and dimming. I even replaced the batteries with a more expensive battery.

Bought new batteries but they still dim down after having them on for about 40 minutes
