Many of us know that administering pills by hand to a cat can be tricky and stressful. We have a senior cat at home that takes meds daily. We tried the manual method and quickly realized it was not going to work. We bought this pill dispenser hoping it would work. It did! We give our cat her meds every morning without issues. The dispenser releases the pills quietly, quickly and painlessly. By the time our cat realizes something is happening, the pill is down her throat. The handle fits in one's hand comfortably. Practical. Easy to clean and store. Using it takes a bit of practice but once you get the hang of it, it works like a charm! We cannot imagine not having this dispenser every day. Recommend.

I was worried whether it would work on my cats, but it did! Super easy to use. It comes with sturdy silicone nozzles that you just attach to the head of the dispenser, and you place your pill inside the nozzle. You push the handle at the end, and the pill pops right out.All my cats were adopted from stray-hood, so some of them can be a bit difficult with medicine and they can smell it from miles away even in pill pockets.Only one of my cats likes pill pockets, the others don't care about it (they def should improve their formula). I had to give them drontal deworming medicine. I did break it in half with a small exacto knife, because the pills are pretty big. (Big/thick knives can shatter the pills. Exacto knives come in handy for multiple other uses around the house, i.e. dividing pills, opening packages, crafting, etc. Be safe though, it's small, but sharp.)I did have to wrap them with a towel firmly but gently, and then quickly pop it in. Pretend like it's any other day, hum a song maybe, make it look like nothing different is going on infront of them before medicine time, lol. They're extremely good at reading body language, and they'll probably still be able to understand what's going on. But worth a try!Make sure to give them lots of love, treats, and reassurance afterwards, or leave them alone for a while, if that's that they prefer. And you're done and golden.

Very good product for cats. I wish it had a better grip instead of the cute dinosaur shape but still highly recommended. Soft tip/pill holder makes it much better than other similar products

my elderly cat has a lot of experience ditching pills but not with this Taozua cat pill pusher. This device makes her open her mouth wide and I can see how far I am to the back of her throat. I used to use my finger to administer the medication and a person's finger is a lot shorter than the pill shooter so my cat did not open up as much and causing the pill to not be deposited way back in the throat where it NEEDS to be. If it's not back far enough they can up chuck the pill and this is what was happening to my cat when I administered by hand. This device comes with 2 soft tips (not hard plastic) now over time these tips will wear out and need replacing so now I am regretting not buying 2 of this product I really hope it never gets discontinued. I like the shape and the design of the product it fits nicely in my hand and the nubs down the side help with ease of control and you don't have to push hard to administer the medication and you can hold it in a couple of different ways (whichever is most comfortable for you) and yes you can use tiny pills with this. I ordered this on Thursday oct 3rd and it was delivered on Saturday the 5th

The media could not be loaded. I have a cat that needs medication daily, and I was struggling with the cheap green version that had a very thin piece inside that never pushed the medicine out completely, and it kept getting stuck, adding to extra stress for me personally and the cat. I decided to try this one, hoping that maybe it has some oomph in terms of air pressure to push the pill out, which it doesn't, by the way. It just has a very thick piece inside that comes out completely, so there's no way for the pill to get stuck. I also started coating the capsule in butter to make it go down smoother.So far it works great, the pill comes out immediately and I don't have to fight with the cat for too long. I do follow up with a little bit of water just to make sure it's not stuck in his throat.Also helps to give treats immediately afterwards to make sure the pill goes down even deeper, plus gives the cat an incentive to tolerate the ordeal knowing that there's something for it at the end of it.

Love this popper. I have spent money on a few. This one is easy to handle and the rubber protects his mouth.The internal protector also does not protrude which saves his mouth from getting scratched.It also comes with an extra rubber. Great product and I highly recommend it.

Cats are difficult to pill. I got this because her pills are tiny. So yes the rubber tip does hold the pill. The problem is you have to place the pill at the tip of the holder. And press the plunger fast as the cat is squirming. So inevitably the pill doesn’t get in the back of her mouth enough. So when u try again the pill is wet and sticky. So now the wet pill sticks in the tip. Sigh. It’s a decent product and does hold small pills and is constructed well. I think it’s just trial and error if it works for you.

This device for giving cats a pill is the best one I've ever tried. It's so much easier that the straight plunger type which can go too far into the cat's mouth and hurt the cat. This one has a much better design, and the plunger pushes the pill into the cat's mouth, but doesn't go into the mouth itself. The handle is nicely designed and easy to hold. The squeeze lever makes it easy to use. I wish it wasn't pink, though, because the pills I give the cat are pink so I can't always see the pill. Not a big deal, though.

It actually holds the pills properly and has a soft tip so if you're struggling at least you know you won't hurt your cat. Works very well!!

Cumple su función y es fácil de usar. Buena relación calidad y precio, solo para pastillas redondas grandes se estira el plástico pero en general funciona muy bien. Yo lo uso para mis gatos y en general evita que escupan la pastilla.

I hardly ever write a review, but now I definitely have to.I've been giving pills to cats for over 35 years and never has it been this easy. My very finicky cat Pete doesn't even have time to realize what's going on, and boom, it's done.The silicone tip prevents any discomfort in his mouth, the one-handed operation is super convenient. Plus: the tiny dinosaur looks very cute.The small steroid pills Pete needs are cut in half. This pill shooter keeps them safely in the tip until you shoot it.Comes with replacement tip as well.
