Diff'rent Strokes: Season 4

Great season and pretty good picture quality...my only complaint is low sound quality...i could hear season 1 and 2 and 3 good had my tv up between 20 and 25 volume was pretty loud but when i popped season 4 in i had to pump my tv up to 35 to 40 for it to be loud enough

In "Diff'rent Strokes - The Complete Fourth Season", the original cast returns, including Dody Goodman returning as the charming & eccentric Aunt Sophia. The serious subject matter blends in quite well with the comedy in episodes such as "Health Club", where Willis & Arnold are denied entry into Mr. Drummond's exclusive club, & in the episode titled "Crime Story" - a two-parter with Arnold & Dudley being bullied by two schoolyard thugs in giving up their school lunches. Willis escorts girlfriend Charlene in Mr. D's limousine in "The Car" & Arnold fears for Mr. D's safety in the episode "Dreams". Willis acquires a service station job in "Lifesavers", & Drummond learns he has a son whom he never met in "Hello Daddy". This fourth season is worth watching, where the viewer can learn many a life lesson through successive viewings while picking up many a laugh all the while. After all, in spite of the serious subject matter contained herein, this is still a sitcom the entire family can view together. Make this season of "Diff'rent Strokes" a must-have on your priority shopping list ASAP!R.I.P., Conrad Bain, Gary Coleman, Dana Plato, Nedra Volz & Dody Goodman.

So many great childhood memories with this show & although there has been mistakes made during the younger stars early adult years, to millions of viewers who viewed this show during its original run, it had such a positive impact as well as given us so many laughs, I was 4 Years old when I started watching this show & I leaned so many positive life lessons & messages on this show, it's time to finally respect the memories of the late cast & except we all made & make mistakes & give Todd Bridges the respect he deserves for changing his life the way he has & never forget the show itself is such a cool positive fun show, viewers as well as the cast should be so proud to watch this show & have worked on a type of show that brought so much laughter to millions of Families, RIP Conrad Bain, Dana Plato & Gary Coleman

i enjoy watching this show and they don't make them this good anymore.

This show was much better than I thought... So where is Season 5??? How am I supposed to get to season 6, where Michael knight of Knight Rider is in a two parter with k.I.T.T. at Universal Studios??? My favorite two episodes. Here's the catch... I will not purchase season 5 until I see season 6 released. I will live with the first four seasons. Dana Plato was fired after season 6, and her death years later was very sad. She was very pretty and had a future, if she tried harder.

I love, do you hear me, loved this show when I was growing up. Just watching this show on DVD definitely brings back some good childhood memories. Just wish the kids had better lives outside the show, but that's the magic of television, where you can just sit back and escape. I remember this was the show when I first developed a crush on Janet Jackson when she played Charlene DuPrey, Willis' longtime girlfriend. I also had a crush on Dana Plato. Being able to see her each week was my main reason for tuning in. I hope 'Shout! factory' continues to release the remaining seasons.

Diff'rent Strokes is definately a nice show and I'm glad to be able to watch it on DVD but I still can't see any subtitles or bonus features such as bloopers or audio commentaries that's too bad coz I'm sure Gary had troubles delivering the "Watchooo talkin' bout Willis?" line sometimes not to mention Todd, Dana or Conrad LOL! Come on Shout Factory try to find juicy bonus features for season 5. A boxset with only episodes is not good enough for fans. That's why I rated the product 4 stars instead of 5.

Brilliant product. Would have been nicer had it been digitally remastered. But that's no responsibility of Amozon. Wish producers or relevant networks would pay more attention to this.

By now, they're starting to grow up. Still a lot of laughs. Arnold is still adorable. Classic early eighties sitcom. Can't go wrong with this one.

I bought both seasons 3 and 4 on DVD from the Shout!Factory. Thank you very much.Season 4 is fantastic. I really enjoyed watching all these episodes. Gary Coleman isin top form as usual. The rest of the cast were solid. I enjoyed the Adelaide characterplayed by Nedra Volz. I was hoping for some commentary or any extras on this DVDbut again as in season 3...nada. Oh well that's okay. I am hoping that from season 5to 8 will have some kind of extras. I highly recommend getting this DVD. I love this show.A small negative is that you can't fast forward the episodes. Too bad.Here is how I would rank the first 4 seasons on DVD.Season One: four stars; Season Two: four stars; Season Three: five stars and SeasonFour: five stars. The ranking is out of 5 stars.Thank you again Shout!Factory. I hope we will see Seasons 5 to 8 in the near future.

It was good.

I like season 3 a lot.

I was looking for a series that is funny, with no swearing and more of a literal kind of funny for my Aspergers son. This is perfect!! He has laughed non stop and even started to stop swearing.. Couldn't ask for more 😃
