Not at all as great as it sounds. I had to switch to a razor and sanding block. This cutting tool grabbed the banding and either wasn't sharp enough to cut through evenly or it was just biting into the veneer.

This was my first edge banding trimmer, and it got the job done. The springs and pins were a little sticky, but I bet that will improve with use. It cuts clean enough, but I could not get it perfectly flush. A little sanding was needed, but I would have done that anyway. Maybe more practice is needed. In retrospect, I probably could have gotten by with a utility knife and a block plane, but I didn't know for sure, so I splurged on this. I'm sure I'll use it, because I've got it now. I would recommend it because it's not terribly expensive, works well enough, and kept a rookie edge bander like myself from gouging my sheet goods with a knife when trimming it.

Kind of works but knives are cheap and full.

You get what you pay for. I am sure there is a better product out there but I am sure it would be 3 times its value and I am no pro I just do it for a hobby

This was a terrible purchase! First off it came with no instructions, although it’s simple enough to operate. But as I used it to trim the newly installed edging all it was able to do was ruin that edging as it tore and gouged. Like a fool I decided it was something “I” was doing wrong and then proceeded to try another piece after “educating” myself by watching a few YouTube videos. So then it tore up another edge, but lastly for good measure I examined the product carefully thinking maybe the blades need adjusting or maybe they were put in incorrectly or upside down or just dull. So I carefully replaced the blades with the spares that came with it and tried again only to destroy a third piece of work. This is definitely going back! Save your money a razor blade and a pair of scissors does a much better job.

Lo use para intentar cortar el canto de una lamina de mdf y corta el canto y la lamina, dinero perdido fue directo a la basura

This this chewed my work as the blade is just a box cutter. It randomly digs in and makes the edges look terrible.I can't salvage the work so will plane a 1/16 off and start again.

Doesn’t leave a smooth edge required finish sanding.

This edge banding trimmer is horrible. even after adjusting it several times it did not cut clean.

Thr trimmer would grab the edging instead of cutting it. It was useless! I stopped using it and sent it back. Don't buy this product.

This tool does not even come close to working! It ruined the edging we had applied and we had to remove it and start over! The knifes aren’t sharp enough to cut even paper

It made a mess out of my edge banding. I quit using it after one board. Save your money and use a razor blade.
