Top quality, worth extra $
Works great! Very good quality and easy to use. Tried my hand at removing/treating a rust spot on my car. I still needed to use Bondo but this filled a few small scratches perfectly. Very happy with the results. Used a hair dryer to speed up drying time for basecoat application.

Great spot repair primer
Works great for spot repairs or smaller parts. Spray nozzle has a good spray pattern, but it can clump up and splatter if you are too far away or at a poor angle.

I've been reordering as needed. Really works good
If you have a surface that needs a small amount of filling, this is the ticket. Sands very easy too.

UPOL solid as always.
What can you say about UPOL primer? Its simply the most consistent thing in my life. Be careful of the white one those its notoriously temperamental and will spatter.

Splattered everywhere
Gets 2 stars only because it's the only product I've found that is a dark grey G6 sealer color other than that, aerosol bottle is garbage. It splatters everywhere and the 2 I bought were dry. 1 was unusable and the other I shouldn't have used

Very drippy, and some aligatoring
The can says apply to fully cured paint, body putty, or properly prepared metal. In marginal temperatures (45 outside, maybe 50 in the workshop), the film shrank, aligatored and wrinkled in a few areas. Worst were edges where it feathered into base coat and top coat, and on vertical areas.Coverage was about 60% of what I got out of an etch primer, which I suppose is about right since it is a thicker coat (more solids).Across the 25 square feet, I got a large number of drips. Horizontal, vertical, whatever. Drips everywhere. They were thin and runny, so every time I'd re-shake, I would sling paint around.I gave it about 5 hours, and it was hard as a rock. Razoring some overspray off of glass took a few passes.Sanding performance was excellent, and it had set in well. No lifting, peeling, etc. The drips sanded out in about 30 seconds each. The aligatored areas took a lot more elbow grease.5 hours later, it was 25 outside, and maybe 35 in the shop. I touched up some areas that probably wanted filler, and it sprayed a little thick and sputtery, but very serviceable, especially knowing how well it sands. Compare to my standard primer which came out like silly string. So, minus 1 star for the excessive drips, and minus 1 star for the film defects. I wanted it to be 1-star, but it was salvageable. Honestly, using this directly on bare metal is probably the best option.

good stuff
great for spots

Horrible
If you like primer to spray large drops and drips that require you to wipe off and then sand later, this is for you. If you prefer a fine controlled spray that goes on nice and even, buy something else.
