Beautiful shades with buildable and blendable color, presented in a lovely tin with great guides and a colure chart to make for your self (hence 3stars) but having completed the chart, the only thing I can honestly say is metallic about these pencils is the silver paint on the barrels. Having said this, I've only tried them out on the white paper chart. Perhaps the metallic sheen is more obvious on black paper. In the past I've had a very cheap set of pencils that were far more obviously metallic than these. If you want really metallic pencils I would choose a different make.

I bought the pen set for daughter and she likes them very much. So many colors and they don't break. Good value for the money.

It is a beautiful set of metallic colours . I am looking forward to using them. If they are anything like the other Castle products if have purchased, I will not be disappointed in the quality.
