Got this for my son since hes really into rubix cubes. easy for him to follow but the battery drains quickly m make sure you buy a lot of spare batteries (cr1225). its a bit tricky to access the battery the first time but you just need to apply some force.

My 8 year old loves it. He had tried watching videos online to solve the cubes. I happened to catch this on sale around the holidays and figured why not. It's amazing how quickly he picked up on it and could follow the moves. Only down side is it has to be sol Ed to sync properly, so don't mix it up if it isn't connected

Perfect gift for my 15 year old son. He loves it and it works perfectly. No complaints at all.

I really like the cube for the money it is great. Make sure you connect it to the app prior to messing it up, I did not and had to solve it then resync it. not a big deal. Like I read the downfall is the battery that came in it was at 33% out of the box and lasted 2 days, I and I really did no mess with it that much. ordered 5 more batteries so we will see how long they last.

Love the cube really smooth good speed cube, connecting to the app was easy app features are really great AMAZING for those that want to LEARN or those who just want to the app to SOLVE it for them, great for BEGINNERS not so go for those who can solve it at a pretty quick pace the app doesn’t keep up and then it becomes inaccurate when you finish solving it the timer keeps going and the cube Is still unsolved even tho you finished solving it seconds ago there is an option to fix it but same thing happens over and over again. So not the best to be trying to make record times with it maybe at first but after a few days it lets you down but I like the cube. So it varies if you are just starting I recommend this if you can solve this in like 30 seconds or less and want to use the app I wouldn’t just go find a speed cube and something else that can time you.

Like other reviewers have said, the battery doesn't last long. Replacing it is not easy either. My son loved using the app to play with it, but it's too much of a hassle (and expensive) to keep replacing it every other day. He is trying other ways to learn how to solve the cube now.

I gave this to my son for Christmas. We tried it a few times - not that much. December 30th I can’t get it to connect. It just says “Low battery” and the app crashes. Think I’d try a different one after seeing other review with battery issues.

I had this for less than a week. I’m not sure I used it even three hours but it ran out of batteries. The manufacturer says it should last between 3-60 hours.

The GoCube-X hits all the marks for what I was looking for. I like to feel the resistance in a turn, feel the control of the move... and be able to finally solve the damn thing. The app is a work of art, i can not believe what we are capable of achieving with the cube now with this technology. Loving this purchase.

worked great for the first couple of days. The battery died and I replaced it - then the cube keeps disconnecting. It will connect for about 2 seconds and then disconnect.My son is kind of frustrated, as am I

I was excited in receiving the product, pulled the plastic flap so that the battery would activate the cube. No detection of the device. Checked online to troubleshoot the issue. Had difficulty in removing the battery and checked with my multimeter to learn that its flat. Got myself a replacement battery and while putting it all back together, "SNAP!" The central blue panel flew out and so are the rest of the cube and no longer able to put it back again. Sigh... what an expensive experience.
