Did They Steal A Million Yet?: Do They Know It's Christmas Yet Part 2 (Do They Know It's Christmas Yet?)

"Now That's Magic..."
Laugh out loud dialogue and hilariously over the top characters in enjoyable sequel to "Do They Know it's Christmas Yet", continuing the 1984 adventures of the bickering, sibling 2020s time travellers. Mostly good natured nostalgia but a few reminders of the greed is good period many would prefer to forget.

Millionare
What's not to love about a time travelling family set in the 80's, using a Sinclair C5? This is the follow up to Do they know it's Christmas yet, and is just as funny with some laugh out loud moments. Must hunt out the 3rd story of this trilogy. Recommended.

Laugh out loud book
As my title suggests, you will laugh out loud as you read through the pages of this book so discretion is advised if taking on public transport!Like the first book I found myself reading faster and faster as you get caught up in the mayhem that is Tash, Jamie, Maureen and Raymond and wanting to find out how they get out of each unimaginable debacle after another. The nostalgia for those of us of a certain age is lovely to remember and you can’t help sharing with your other half “do you remember these ….” when James sets off memory recall on long forgotten items. It has a lovely ending which brought a tear to my eye and something I wasn’t expecting to happen. This is not a sci fi novel (I don’t like those) it’s an easy to read fun book, with characters that are easily relatable, lots of humour but you will also feel empathy and emotion towards them as well. Definitely a must read, especially if you have read the first one, I’m eagerly awaiting no.3 now!

More Band Aid 2.0 than the original classic
I loved the first book in the series but found this one a little disjointed in comparison. Maybe it's just been too long a gap between reading the first book and this one as I really struggled to follow the plot, especially when dropped in references and events from the first book. The plot just didn't flow as well as the first book and I struggled in places to follow the story. Having said that I battled through as the main characters are likable and are great characters. I'm hoping volume 3 returns to the form of the first book and I'm putting this down as that difficult second album, similar to FGTH's Liverpool offering. Some great moments but otherwise OK.

excellent read
A brilliant sequel to Do They Know It’s Christmas Yet. The adventures of Tash and Jamie continue and just as bonks as the guest. Love all the 80s references. Takes me back there

Even better than the first book
I am definitely going to read the next book straight after this second story in the trilogy. The recurrent references to 80's food, music and celebs is such a treat. This is inspired work.

Absolutely love this book
Having thoroughly enjoyed the first book I was eagerly awaiting this sequel and it did not disappoint. Great to see Jamie and Tash back once again in this brilliant new story. Finished it in 3 days which is a miracle for me but just couldn’t put it down. A must read in my opinion. When is part 3 out?

I’m addicted to this series.
I am so invested in this series that I don’t want to take the time to review it here. I just want to start the 3rd book immediately. It’s that good.
