The last time I bought powdered ginger root on Amazon, it came in a large plastic bottle, holding around 3 lb of spice. Plastic is a TERRIBLE container because it breathes and that ginger was bitter in spots. Coconut Country Living Organic ginger root powder is not bitter, and is sold in a better container. Thus it is very high quality. I can expect consistency in good taste and quality in this powder with every dish I make.

We like to cook with ginger. Sometimes we don't have fresh and this is the next best thing. Good size for the price and smells and tastes....like ginger. Highly recommend it!

Good quality

I generally skeptical of powders as to the authenticity and the purity, that is, minimally processed and no added fillers and junk that we don't need in the product. I like this ginger powder. The fragrance and taste are authentic and it really is powerful as an option to real ginger root. I used some in my smoothie and it was full of ginger flavor. Err on less is more as this is concentrated stuff. I'll be ordering more.

OMG I love, Love, LOVE. this product! I'll order ALL my spices from this company! Order and delivery was perfect! May I say something else about this company please? Look, understand that most orders end upon delivery, not this company, I ordered Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder and Organic Ginger Powder and I was gonna use my tea recipes HOWEVER this Company sends recipes for different ways other than teas! AMAZING! did I say I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!! I will only buy all my future spice needs from Coconut Country Living of Sri Lanka. Finally I found a company that makes my heart dance and my face SMILE! Just received my second purchase of this ginger powder brand from Amazon.I use it to spice up tumeric tea and various dishes.I's up to my standards(freshness, taste and aroma) and probably will order again in the future.

I recently purchased this item and I am so pleased with its quality that I had to write a review. On opening the sealed light proof bag, I got the aroma of fresh ginger which has a powder consistency that makes it blend easily with my morning smoothie. I Have not yet tried it as a tea, but, I am sure it will work just as well. I will purchase this product again and hope that the quality is maintained.
