If you have the budget for a standalone dedicated meter, buy this. Its easy to use, easy to understand, fun to watch, and super helpful. It turns your music making into a much more fun experience when you can see the music dancing. LUFS becomes an easy objective and you end up learning a lot watching this thing.

From all Plug-Ins and meters in the pro audio industry, TC Electronic created a fantastic audio meter with so much standards and criteria for audio metering (also custom presets as you need and work), for different industries such as iTunes music mastering, Broadcast, Cinema and some local loudness normalization (Japan, China, EBU). The software design is great, the metering is accurate, it is ready to work just with a USB as a "Plug-In Mode" and also, as a Stand Alone audio meter. It is great you may paste your logo (Studio) on it's screen! The Screen and hardware is beautiful. It is affordable. For any DAW you work with, Clarity M is the best audio meter ever! This device works well for me although the breakout cable was a little less than what I’d hoped for. Generally, I was looking for something that I could do live sound system. It’s a little more complicated than I had hoped for, but it does work. It works well to hook to a computer and check audio for recorded videos to see if the levels are good. Overall, I’m pleased with the product. The screen is very nice and the features are very nice. I probably should’ve just got the stereo version. I haven’t tried to connect to a surround sound system to check system output.

I’ve been using it for every record for last couple months. Perfect piece of gear.
