Q: Does it work with 5 quart Artisan series stand mixer?

The Artisan series mixers are made by Kitchenaid, not Cuisinart. I can't say with 100% accuracy, but I don't believe the attachments are interchangeable. That sounds like using Ford parts on a Chevy.

Q: Are there recipes for dairy free ice cream?

I no longer have the recipe book that was enclosed but as with most dairy free ice cream, substitute Cashew milk or other plant based "milk" for cow's milk. Google dairy free ice cream and then adapt a recipe for the amount needed for your ice cream maker.

Q: Does it come with the driver assembly for connecting attachments? It doesn't show this piece.
