I love that these cards come in a box that have plastic on top of them to protect him. My husband always uses a knife cutter when he opens boxes so I'm always afraid that they're going to get cut. These cards are really pretty and I feel like the sayings inside are great for whoever you may be giving them to. They aren't too affectionate or too vague, see pic. I included several pic of the sayings. I could not find a better deal on prewritten cards and this saves me so much time and money. No more last minute trips to the store when I forgot to buy a card. Also I love that they have envelopes, the sayings dont repeat, and the designs are unisex.

I have a lot of Christmas cards, some thank you cards, but I never seem to have birthday cards. And right now, I am pretty much dependent on friends d for transportation, so I was looking for something like this. I feel fortunate at how well these turned out. 40 cards, all different and very nice quality. They aren’t the very most special cards, meaning not personalized, but they are all cards I will be happy to sign my name to and send to friends and family. They come with envelopes in a attractive,strong box that will last forever and protect the cards. Super handy. I feel that I hit the Jackpot!

I gave this set of cards 4 stars because I really do like the designs on then. The only problem is that the greetings on the inside are a little wonky. They appear to be written by someone who is not a native English speaker. By that I mean that sometimes the syntax is skewed and the message is worded strangely. The other problem is that the message is printed on the top left inside of most of the cards and in relatively small type. Neither of these quirks is a reason not to buy the cards. They are all very cute and come in a wide variety of styles. Just be prepared to write your own message if you don't want to use theirs. Some of the cards are blank, too, so you can personalize them any way you wish. The editor in me wants to send them a list of the messages in correct form but I'll refrain.

The description states there are three different envelope color options. Mine had zero envelopes. Kind of negates giving the card if there's no envelope to address and put them in. It's a shame, really, as the cards seem quite nice, themselves. More than moderately disappointed.UPDATE: My initial review garnered the attention of the seller who very quickly rectified the issue of no envelopes in my initial order. As such, I've changed my review to five star from one star. Thank you for making this right.

I bought this boxed set because - like most people, I think - I have a variety of people to send birthday cards to. While the cards do seem high quality in terms of the card stock and printing, I don't think any of the cards are generically appropriate for teen boys or men. The few that have more "masculine" colors have inside messages that use words like "lovely" or "beautiful"...not things that are really fitting to send to my army-sergeant brother, among others. There are also many cards in the bunch with blank insides (I didn't count, but more than the 6 or so that I expected). Having said that, there are a handful of these cards that are really beautiful designs...mostly ones that are shown in the product photos, but I was happy to find that they were as nice as the photos, maybe even a little bit nicer.

I'm so pleasantly surprised with this purchase! These are very cute and well made cards! They are a nice, thick card stock and feature all different designs with various birthday (and a handful of generic) greetings! They are all very appealing designs and I can't wait to send them to friends and family. They also come in a high quality cardboard storage box. Very happy!

These cards appeared ok when I viewed them on the Amazon page and ultimately I bought them because of the high star rating. But when I received them I was really disappointed. The inside messages were just weird for lack of a better word. It was like whoever wrote them didn't have a clear concept of the English language. Even the one on the preview here says "How can I remember your birthday when you never look any older?" That just doesn't make any sense whatsoever - and the rest of the messages are far worse like "They should study you because you never age" - really??? Also on many of the cards the inside greeting is on the left side when you open it, not the right side. Just kind of weird because I've never seen cards like that - perhaps it's an American thing, but again these are just not usable.I liked the designs on the front of the cards for the most part, and the quality was very good - but I just couldn't bring myself to use these for fear of becoming a laughing stock at work (which is what these were intended for). I returned them for a full refund.

The English is incorrect on many of these. Obviously written by someone for whom English is a second language.Seems it wouldn’t be that difficult for the manufacturer to have a native English speaker proofread these.Embarrassing to send to friends and family. Useless. Will go in the recycle bin.Not recommended. Would not buy anything from these folks.
