This wind up musical unit is for a DIY music keepsake box. The first unit received was off key, defective, which was promptly returned. The second unit received was was very good, sound quality is good and will go well with the project. I commend the return, and customer service, support highly.

This music box that I ordered for lalaland was defective. Some of the pins are not in the correct position so it would hit multiple notes. Does not sound good nor crisp. Will return. The one I received for La Vie En Rose was good. Will keep this one.

These are nice looking gold finish musical movements. Received in very short time. The tone was a little quite but, when you mount them to what ever you are going to add this too, it will amplify the sound nicely with vibration to hear the melody better. But I did order two off these and was surprised when they came, they were only in a shipping envelope. These are a little delicate and of course one came bent. So when I wound the damaged one up it did not play anything and did not work. Not sure if the damage came from being shipped in the envelope or if it was missed in the product inspection process.

Used this for a painted birdhouse craft. Sound is beautiful!
