Good hammer, Nice friendly weight
I like this hammer. The best feature is the option to use with the plastic cover. I am a professional trim carpenter. I have years upon years of experience. I purchased this model for more specific size and weight. Rarely does a hammer get used to drive a nail. At least in my world. Sometimes it does happen, but Rarely. A hammer is used to tap and or beat things into place. I don't do alot of framing, so the need for heavier and larger hammers are not a necessity. I got the 20 ounce for both the occasional framing need, and to move some tighter boards into place. As long as some occasional demolition work. Again beating on stuff. I used this hammer on a personal project that required both some demolition and some framing. It was the perfect size and weight for my need. The plastic cap came into play as not to damage some material. My everyday hammer is a 16 ounce as a trim carpenter. This one will fill the needs when that is a little too small
