I forgot it shrinks...sigh
Totally awesome but I missed a small detail when I used it to hang up a swing/rope climb(double purpose). The rope when wet shrinks, lol. (hind sight, Duh!) However, I would swear anytime it rains the swing continues to get higher and higher and higher. =z Horribly funny watching my kids trying to use the swing first couple of rains but now I cant even use it. However, the rope works well for rope climb and will continue to use it till I win lotto for a more durable expensive alternative. =). The rope is still strong after almost a year in CT weather being outside hung up in the trees. However, to those using this rope outside; it is rumor this type of rope will rot from the inside out because how the the moisture gets trap in the natural fibers so always inspect it don't just assume its integrity.

Very good and study rope!
Good, thick rope we wanted for a bed swing but be warned, it's oil/diesel soaked or coated and will put off a smell until you air it out or soak it in something.

Good product. I used this for battling rope exercises
Good product. I used this for battling rope exercises. I had to used duct tape on the ends as a hand cushion because tape is cheaper than the rubber ends that are sold online. I'm a nice size guy 6 foot plus, 200 plus pounds, size XL gloves and the 1-1/2 size inch is perfect for my grip. The rope sheds a little but that is expected because its a REAL ROPE. Excellent product.

T.W. Evans Cordage 1.5 inch by 50 feet
Exactly as expected. Good ole old fashioned manila rope. Lots of character. I used it for my Japanese rock garden, and it provides extraordinary looks and character to it. No regrets. I would gladly buy it again. Love it.

Disappointed
Ordered 3 spools to use as decorative landscape design - nautical rope fence. Looked great at first. Lasted 6 months before it started looking rough. 1 year later dry rotted and falling apart.

Works great! And is way cheaper than the other ones ...
Kind of has that butane smell to it when you get it I think? I say I think because the smell is very light. However, a few more uses, I imagine it'll go away quickly. Works great! And is way cheaper than the other ones out there. I don't know how much longer the ends will hold up though, so I'm definitely looking into getting some heat-shrink wrap for the ends and middle.

Great battle rope!
I ordered this rope to use as a workout (battle) rope! It was much cheaper then ropes from exercise sites. I also ordered 2 inch heat shrink to cover the ends, like the more expensive ropes sold by the exercise sites. It has worked out great.

thicker than expected
The only reason I am writing this review is not go through what happened to me. I was very happy with purchase until I tried to install in my 4x4 inch pressure treated wood holes that I made 1 1/2" holes to put the cordage thru that should be no problem but cordage is about 1 3/4" thick. Try getting a 1 3/4" bit. Nobody has it. I had to hand saw out all holes not easy.
