I learned at physical therapy that using a karate belt works perfect for stretching legs etc. it hold up to lots of washing, and doesn’t give.

This belt will serve people fine for general colored belt use as they'll probably wear it a couple hundred times or less.Once a person gets a black belt, they generally don't get another. As such, the belt will be worn and used for years making durability paramount and this belt just isn't as durable as Century or Bear brand belts, i'd recommend one of those for black belt use.

It's sturdy, very long, and malleable enough to get the job done, keep your gi up if you need it to. whether your buying this for your dojo or you just want it for cosplay like I did!
