I'm a beginner piano player, I know how to read music well, able to read bass and treble clef, not able to read chords well, able to use both hands while playing and know basic finger positions. When buying books online I never know what quite to expect because there's beginner level and then there's "I have no idea what I'm doing -beginner level."With my experience this book has been great for me to practice on easy mode to songs I am familiar with and some that I'm not. The collections are nice and some songs I've even forgotten about are in there. I am definitely a beginner at piano. I am 17 and have been playing for 6 months (though when I started I could already read music) and I can play many of the songs in this book. There is definitely quite a range of difficulty even though the whole book is "easy". I just love this book! It has all the favorite songs from Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin and then some. I have the other popular Easy Disney Piano book called "The Disney Collection" which has some of the good classic songs, but this book in my opinion has much better songs. If you are a beginner and want to learn fun songs or are a better player and want to be able to learn all your favorite songs quickly, get this book! This book has a lot of fun songs in it, but most of these songs are better suited for a full orchestra and just don't translate well to easy piano. For someone who just wants to play the melody with a little bit of left hand than this is for you.I always like it when someone in the review types out the whole list of songs, so here you go. I have had a real issue with Hal Leonard books in the past. They are often WAY overpriced and either poor quality, incomplete, or excessivly repetative. This was a refreshing change of pace. A nice variety of COMPLETE songs. A good competitive price, and a half way decent binding. The only thing that could make this better would be a spiral bound version (seriously- I would gladly pay and extra $5 for a spiral bound version- Hello Sheet Music Publishers????? if its more than 2 pages spiral binding will allow use to use these books on a music stand without clothspins, book clips, document clips and the marid of other assorted page holding devises we employ). A great variety of Disney favorites!

This made learning music a lot more fun! Some songs are harder than others unfortunately but there's still a lot you can play :)

The product arrived on time with no physical damage. THe songs in this book however a much too easy, if you want to play mostly right hand with single whole notes to quarter notes on your left hand then this book is for you. Arrangements are overly simplistic. This book is probably not for you unless you're an absolute beginner.

Great value for money! There are a lot of Disney songs contained in this one book. I loved how it had 3 Beauty and the Beast songs as most music books pull one song from each movie. This had a few so you didn't have to pick and choose. I would say this is a beginner book as it is fairly easy.

Bought this for my daughter who has been playing for less than a year. It is still difficult for her to play most of the songs, but her music teacher thought it would be a good book for her to work towards playing now. For a piano student with a bit more skill it would be great.
