Gets the job done
Sturdy and durable. Easy to clean. I love the suction cup feet to keep it from sliding on the counter

Love it!!!
I have had this slicer for ever a year and i love it! I own a small café and it makes slicing tomatoes a breeze - such a time saver. And, it's still just as sharp as the day I bought it.By the way, this piece of equipment is meant to slice TOMATOES ONLY. Ignore the bad reviews from people trying to use it for other things!

Says for all Vegetables and Fruits.....
Right on the description it says this:This multi-functional tomato slicer is ideal for slicing tomatoes, onions, garlic, cucumbers, strawberries, mushrooms, and other vegetables and fruits. In the packaging it says something else, see image.I bought it for Tomatoes and Onions. What good is a slicer that can't cut onions alongside Tomatoes?Well guess what... Fresh Tomatoes, pushed and squished Tomatoes before it finally allowed them to pass through and cut them. Did 3 Tomatoes and all 3 were a pain in the BUTT to slice. This slicer is more worthless that the cheap aluminum it was made from. Will be sending back asap.

Works but be aware
Only use firm tomatoes, soft ones will squish. Also cutting isn't a fluid movement. You'll initially knock the tomato into the blades & it'll resist. No big deal just pull the handle back and force it!The tomato will go off the board so have a collection bowl or plate ready cause that thing is being launched! It's pretty cool really unless your tomatoes aren't firm, at that point you'll need a skewer and paper towels to clean it out. Also heard this is good for onions but I can't see the blades holding up to something solid like that.Firm tomato, eggplant, zucchini....The cuts are perfect

Backstop screws stripped out in 2 days
The backstop plate has 2 short screws holding it on, they stripped out in 2 days of use and now the slicing handle will just slide off each time you cut a tomato. Otherwise, cuts great tomatoes and seems like a good solid piece of equipment, but those 2 screws make it inoperable for quick slicing.

Very good slicer
Good construction. Easy to use. Good for use in a restaurant. The rubber feet do fall off fairly easy so keep an eye out for them! Do NOT cut anything but tomatoes in this slicer as it will warp the thin blades.

Does NOT cut onions
I bought this for my restaurant. I thought it would save me time cutting onions and tomatoes. It says it works for onions, but this is false, unless it's a tiny onion. It gets stuck halfway through it. I am still using my cheap mandolins for onions. The mandoline does not work on tomatoes. This does indeed cut tomatoes well and very quickly but I was disappointed it didn't live up to the description and do onions as well.
