Made is the USA! All parts and materials are new. The "Katherine" busy board is handmade for ages 12 months and up. The boards feature a barrel bolt, a D-ring, a chain lock, a sash lock, a wheel caster that swivels, a latch, a door stop (rubber tips are glued on), a handle for carrying, and a door to open and close. Open the door to find velcro circles which alternate soft and rough sides. Prism tape (designs vary) on the underside of the door shows the colors of the rainbow when light shines on it. The board is painted with an enamel paint which cleans easily. Designed with high contrast for the developing eyes of little children. Measurements are 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 3 1/2". Not intended for wall mounting.
