as my mother was having should surgery and the doctor recommended a recliner to sleep in for the first week ...
Bought this chair when it was $160. I needed a recliner immediately, as my mother was having should surgery and the doctor recommended a recliner to sleep in for the first week and a half after surgery. It was a small enough footprint that it fit perfectly for the space we had to spare in our living room.Immediately, it felt chintzy, it shifted a bit from side to side as if it weren't very solid. However, it worked for my mother while she stayed with us, and worked as a decent recliner for me afterwards.Until 3 days ago...The wooden cross-bar underneath snapped away from the chair, creating a sever sag to the left. And, before I had a chance to go get an "L" bracket in order to try and repair it, the other side broke away as well.We have no small children to bounce on the chair. I am overweight, but only by 20 lbs. My mother is not overweight.I get that $160 is cheap for a recliner, but I expected it to be structurally sound for longer than 3.5 months. And now that they're charging $190... just stay away.

PU leather falls apart
We bought these chairs April 2017 the PU Leather started ripping by April 2020 , yes the price was good but you get what you pay for. We can't even donate them. The comfort is still there.

DO NOT BUY THIS RECLINER
We bought this April 18, got it April 20. Today is June 8, less than 2 months from when we received this chair and it's now broken. I'm a 150 lb female who's just relaxing on this chair while watching the tv with my 15 lb dog. I was about to doze off when the recliner broke and I almost fell. Good thing my husband caught me. The materials used to make this chair is very cheap and flimsy. Well, you get what you paid for right? If I was single and any bit heavier, the whole thing could have broken off and I would have broken my neck or bones. I attached pictures of the very cheap plywood they used to support your weight. They also just used staples to put the whole thing together. If you're a 100 lb child, this chair could support you. Otherwise, move on and invest on a better quality chair. It could save your life or at least save you from embarrassment and regret.

This was very easy to put together
This was very easy to put together. It is not the most comfortable chair but fits the small area. It is not comfortable to recline in and won’t work well for a tall person. For the price it looks nice.

Risky buy
Put together, first day a 175 lb sat to recline & leg broke. Cheap material & the chair isn't for everyday, play day or horse play ! lol

Small, great for a bedroom. My husband likes it a lot.
I bought this because it was small enough to fit in the game room. My husband who is recovering from knee surgery loves it. Says it is comfortable and easy to open/close. I can't find covers for it because it is small, so I bought a regular size cover and tucked it in the seat. It worked so-so. The price was right and it serves a purpose.
