This is my 2nd shovel...I love it!
I wanted this one as it is lightweight and easy to use. I'm elderly and can't wait for our first snow to get out there and do my own snow removal quickly and easily.

Doing it’s job
Really great for its price, would buy it again. My driveway is ~25 yards and it’s doing the job perfectly. No shoveling anymore, it is pretty lightweight, even my wife used it (sharing after 1 year experience)

Blows snow like crazy
Fantastic little machine ! Be careful of cord-can get in the way. Light & easy to use & easily cleared front patio & in front of garage doors. Throws snow over 20 feet. Sure beats shoveling!!

Did the job but short handle gave me a backache
I had to wait 2 months from the time I ordered it until we got a snowfall to use it. I may have gotten my hopes up pretty high during my wait. Knowing that the stated limit for snow removal with this unit was about 8", I made sure to get out as soon as I could. The unit is light enough that I can lift it out of the tiny garage around the car. It seems a bit front heavy, which makes it a bit less maneuverable than I'd like, but still way better than a large heavy snowblower. The snow was easy to blow away, even up over the 4-foot walls on either side of the driveway. I'm not sure how it would do if I'd let the snow get any deeper, but usually I think I can get there to do the job before it gets any higher than that. The biggest negative for me was the length of the handle. I'm a 5'10" woman and had to stoop over to push the SnowJoe. I woke up the next day with a sore back, which was what I was trying to avoid from shoveling. I wish the handle length was adjustable.

should be a 5, I gave it a 2
I would give this thrower a 5 star review except for what recently happened (12/2022). I have had this thrower for 3 years, and loved how easily this unit was to use for clearing walkways and my deck. Until this winter. I recently went to use the thrower and the on/off switch lever snapped off. Up until then this thrower worked perfectly. It won't function now with the lever snapped off. I contacted Snow Joe, knowing that it was out of warranty. I just wanted to replace the switch lever. I was informed that the on/off lever is not available to purchase separately. I would have to bring it to a local repair shop. Well, no repair shop could repair a snapped piece of plastic. So now I have to throw this away? And possibly purchase a whole new thrower because a simple and cheap piece of plastic had snapped? Therefore I give the unit a 2 star rating.

11Amps, 15 inches wide x 8 inches of snow, we got a winner.
Looks like I may be the first reviewer for this product so I'll try to be detailed.I bought this after debating this product or an electric snow shovel for cleaning my deck and walkway. I settled on this because of the following reasons:- It has an 11 Amp motor which is bigger than the 10 Amp motor on the 323E/324E or the 7.5Amp on the Toro.- It is 15 inch as opposed to the 12-13 inch on the shovels.- It has a 180 degree directional discharge chute and the electric snow shovels don't.- It is still light enough that I can move it around with ease (as opposed to my 200lb Craftsman 24 inch dual stage snow blower). Note that this product weighs about 22lbs on my bathroom scale so that may not necessarily be consider lightweight to some people, but light enough for me to carry it up and down the stairs with ease.- It has 8 inch snow depth as opposed to the 4"-6" on the electric shovels.- It is not much more expensive than the shovels.- It's made by a reputable company. The snow thrower (this is single stage so technically this is not a snow blower) comes packed on a small box that I easily carried up the stairs.First impressions from my wife is that it looks like a toy, which helped me justify the purchase by saying it was not expensive, so that's a plus on my list. The wheels do look a little cheap but perhaps they are all that they need to be.The rest looks solid enough. The plastic auger blade seems durable. It is easy to assemble and instructions are detailed with good detailed drawings and they come in English, Spanish and French. The only issue I had assembling it was with the deflector bolt because the included washer prevents the square neck of the bolt to catch on the discharge chute inner hole that is supposed to hold the bolt and prevent it from turning when the deflector knob is being tightened. Snow Joe, if you're reading this, you can easily solve this issue by using a bolt with a longer neck. But no biggie, just use a pair of pliers to hold the deflector bolt while you tighten the deflector knob, once it catches on then you don't need the pliers anymore and you can just tighten the knob as intended. There is conflicting information about the required extension cord for this unit (which is not included and needs to be purchased separately), Snow Joe's website says you need 12g for 100ft and 14g for 50ft but the product comes with a warning booklet attached to the power cord that says to use a 14 gauge for 100ft and a 16g for 50ft, same as it says on the manual. They all say not to use an extension cord longer than 100ft.Overall I think this is a good product for the price as listed on Amazon, which is lower than manufacturer's retail.I haven't had a chance to try it out yet so I'll update this review after I try it out.

Good Snow Thrower, a little chunky!
Okay so - It's a great snow thrower, for the most part and it does what I wanted it to do and the price was great. However that said, it IS kind of frustrating to assemble it - bad directions, I had to look at the box to make sense of the thing. The most frustrating part was the metal pin that holds the handle for the angler to the machine for the snow vent rotator - I had to use my own wire element in it because. Once you get the pin they included, in, (if you can even) you'll NEVER get it out. So I again decided to use my own wire, because this thing ended up being a lot bigger when assembled - I live in an apartment, I have no garage, I HAVE to be able to get it back in the box during Spring/Summer/Winter which means disassembling it again. I would have probably been better off with a cordless snow shoveler than this thing but once I detach the handle pieces I will be more than able to easily store this thing. It's not that its huge by any means, just larger than I had anticipated. But it works great. Really helps me get my car dug out in the upstate NY snow!

Blatantly dangerous.
This product is only wired with a two-prong cord, meaning it carries no ground wire. We detected a dangerous ungrounded 110v live A/C circuit during the operation of this machine. It's not UL listed and you're definitely going to get a shock from it. A simple current detector placed on or near the handle lights up indicating live current through the frame of the machine. This thing is dangerous and shouldn't be sold or used.

Good little unit
The media could not be loaded. The delivery was very fast, the unit arrived 1 week earlier than predicted. Bought this unit to remove snow on the roof of the cottage and worked very well, cutting my time in half. The only recommendation I would have is not to take big chunks, it will stall the unit.

Good product
Light weight and easy to use. Work well for dry snow, but not suitable for wet snow.

Snow thrower
Really easy for a senior lady to put together. Light enough to remove from the box. Purchased to remove snow from the deck. Won’t know true functionality until it snows. Frankly hoping that’s not for awhile. Only Oct 4.

Not for hard pack snow.
The snow blower is very good for new soft snow. Best work is done at around 4” of snow. The blower and direction chute work reasonably well. A level area is necessary for best performance. Our area has rough spots and gravel. The blower does not like ice or gravel. ☹️ The light weight is an advantage for seniors. I found a regular extension cord with a ground worked well for the 11 (?) amp electric blower. No popped 15 amp breaker. The price was very good. Delivery time slow.
