This unit is very universal and will hold nearly any object measuring approximately 2 to 5 inches in width. I have had it only for a day and I will submit a followup review if something "goes wrong". The box comes with no instruction sheet but does have dimensional pictures of each individual component. The box displays a "Vent Pothook" for attaching to the car vent--I did not receive this (was I supposed to?). The unit will extend your device 5 to 6 inches from the windshield (rather long compared to my gps windshield device that only extends 2.5 inches) and could become an issue in heat causing a release of the suction. The suction cup seems to hold very well, hard to remove when the lever is released--that is a good thing in my book. The clamps have soft foam padding to protect your device from damage and seem to clamp securely. There is a quick release button which allows the clamps to open automatically with spring pressure. I shopped around several stores and these units usually cost above $30. I would caution anyone to "tether" the unit to something in case the suction unit fails, to prevent a long fall. So far, I am very pleased with the purchase from Amazon (by the way it was delivered 2 days faster than the estimated time).

I needed a way of putting my phone somewhere so I can watch any activity on it and retrieve it quickly if I needed to. Mounting it on the windshield was out of the question, it took up to much room. Any other available space was limited in my MKZ, but I was able to use the cup holder. By removing the liner and cementing an extra disc in the bottom it turned out to be the perfect place. If I needed the cup holder for another cup, the mount was easy to remove and the liner reinserted.

When I first received it, it seemed a little cheap and complicated, but once I figured out How to tighten everything down, it works great. It swivels in many directions to provide the best angle for driving. It also sticks very well even with my heavy phone, but I did have to add a little water to the suction cup the first time to make it stick perfectly.

Wiggly is probably a silly word to use, but over bumps the unit does shake a little bit, but that's probably to be expected with most mounting units. It fits my HTC EVO 4G perfectly and the suction cup provides pretty good holding power. I would buy another one of these if needed, and I would recommend to friends & family.

This is a great designed product that being said it is made with low quality craftsmanship I would look for something better if you use this everyday. I recommend this for occasional use only.

It sticks to the windshield just fine, but the arm doesn't really stay in position, right now the bottom part is resting on the dashboard, and holds the phone at the right angle for me to see. If you want the phone to be higher (I've seen people put their phone right below the rear-view mirror) it won't work.

If you looking for something for the car this is the perfect product. I recommend this product to anyone. It is really reliable for your phone.
