Sena SC-A0301 Battery Pack for Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset, Black

Great battery, fits in the factory mount that came with my Sena, and seems to last quite a while. I haven't taken a road trip yet, but on the couple 3hr rides I've taken it is keeping charged the whole time just like the factory battery.

This is not the old style as pictured. What arrived is the new style that slides into a plastic holder.My original battery was the old style that is curved and velcros directly to the helmet and is reflective. But I'm glad this is the new style. The original battery only lasted 2-3 hours. The new-style battery lasts 4-5 hours.I just put velcro on the holder, and stick it where the original battery goes so I can still use both. Eventually I'll toss the original in the trrash and only use the new style.

Short review: This battery made my wife's SMH10R perform as good as new.The wife and I have 3 year old SMH10R units that suit us fine until hers started acting up and becoming unreliable.The new models on the market don't appear to have improved enough to justify the cost of upgrading.Time will tell how long before one of our units act up again and force my hand but I think this battery is good as new and will probably last for years.

I ordered two of these for my aging batteries. One of them came correctly. The second box came labeled as the SC-A0301 battery, but instead had a pair of headphones in it. Item was returned and replaced with a new one, just to get another mislabeled box with the same pair of headphones.

I purchased this for my extended trips, it a great little add on to the existing Sena systems. The USB charger makes charging batteries ALOT easier, I wish SENA would sell that alone, and \or include it with the head set!

The most important thing about a product is generally that it does what it is supposed to do. I received my Sena battery and put it on charge. It took a charge and worked reliably for 8 hours of riding a day for 5 days. I have not had it long enough yet to say for how many years it will work. The pack came with the items necessary to charge the pack while off of the helmet and the items to put it on the helmet. It was received rapidly.

This works so much better than the original Sena 10R battery. The old one would die after about an hour. This one lasted 6+ hours with no indication of it dying. Great replacement battery !
